@ Bruce – the article says he contacted Apple about the issue and did not receive a response…then he proceeded to apply for the job and, again, did not receive a response. That was when he made all of this public afterwards so if Apple had responded to him regarding the issue then this probably would not have made its way to BGR.

kinda smarmy, if you ask me. if he is so ‘concerned’ about security (in general) and has discovered a security flaw… then, why did he not just provide the fix, show apple – privately; and, on a clean slate, apply for the job (again privately)? going public with all of this stuff leads one to question his abilities and integrity.

I like all companies but everyone making Apple look like its the Omega in everything it do. Not. Look behind the marketing team and scams every company have and actually read between the lines of everything that caught ur interest and pick from there. Never pick something that everyone have and tell u want to get. Creative mp3 players are better than ipods but dont have that much space, yet.

If he dont get the job, he should release what it is to hackers so they can screw apple over. and who said they mac is safe?!
