AT&T Fuze caught in the wild, targeted for a release near Black Friday?

With all the furor over the Bold, it is easy to forget that AT&T has another hot handset slated for release in November. According to this latest leak, the Fuze will start shipping to stores within the next two weeks and is targeted for a release sometime around Black Friday. With the recent rebate leak and now these new shots, we cant help but start to get excited. The Fuze will reportedly be available for $349.99 - $50 MIR with 2-Year contract and data Plan. We sure hope this one pans out. Hit the jump for a few more close-ups.

I’m holding off until after the first of the year. As with the iPhone, I’ll let the early adopters work out all the bugs. Same thing I did when I got the TyanII/Tilt. I waited a couple of months for the “new” to wear off, sort out the bugs, and price came down. I don’t think there will be as many glitches with the touch pro/Fuze, but with the holidays coming up, unless they sell it for a lot less, even with the rebates, in this economy, and who knows about next year, I’m holding onto what money the government still allows me to keep.

The only and major problem with this phone… Windows Mobile! HTC’s interface is very nice, but as soon as you use WM applications, it’s like going back 15 years back.

Umm..yeah… Boy Genius, I gotta say, I’m a bit disappointed with this article. The thread on XDA developers is about 1200 posts long and this guy (the one who provided these excellent pictures) makes 1 post on the website and now it’s being reported as if it’s gospel? I thougth BGR used more reliable sources than that…
For those who have followed that thread you’ll know that no date is to be trusted. However it seems to me Nov 7th is the most likely date given that the Bold was released today and they probably don’t want to rain on RIMM’s parade.

Maybe BGR knows something the rest of us don’t that jives with what the dude said.
If there are over 1200 posts and they pick up this guys, there has to be something to it.
He posted again on that forum saying it will start shipping in the next 2 weeks not on black friday
and if it DOES come out on the 7th thats pretty much in the window he gave.

With all the “confirmed” release dates this phone has seen, BGR is playing it safe by preaching the one furthest away. So if the phone comes out early, no ones hopes are given up. Good call BGR. But if I get my phone on Nov. 7th, I want an apology!!!!

My apologies…I must have missed the “We hope this pans out” portion of the post. The title of the post had me thinking a Black Friday release date had been confirmed.
I’m as anxiously awaiting this device as anyone else. To me, that shows some (albeit highly circumstantial) evidence some guy is trying to unload his pre-release version before the actual release date, which hopefully coincides with when the auction ends.

Exactly. HTC has made a lot of improvements to a horrible Operating System, however I think it’s time HTC looks for an alternative software to power their great devices.

Some more clarification for you all. I will re-iterate again that this is a rumor. We edited the title so no one jumps to the wrong conclusion. I apologize to those who thought we were confirming a Black Friday release from the title. It is NOT slated for release on Black Friday. The rumor says the Fuze will hit At&T in the next few weeks and be available sometime near/around Black Friday.

@Kelly: Don’t apologize to morons who can’t figure out the difference between a rumor post and an offical announcement. If you guys are going to have to write at a third grade level for some of these jokers then you might as well hang it up now.
People: This site’s roots are based in rumor and leaked information. This is not the official release site of any company. Sometimes they report official and verified information but it is generally indicated as such.

@Sean: I can only comment to what is posted. If that’s wrong it’s not my problem. If I need to wait 48 hours for “retractions/editing” to respond to posts, then it’s not much of a blog, is it?
