Blackberry Bold now available at AT&T

The news you have all been waiting months for is finally here. Unleashed a few hours early, the Blackberry Bold is now available for sale on AT&T. We could pontificate about all the ups and downs of the past several months but we won’t — enough has been said.  So get on with some ordering and get yourself a little bit of that Bold action direct from AT&T’s website.

Thanks, Brandon!

I don’t see it on the Premier site either. I’m still going to wait. Rogers just dropped their price so I think I can wait until AT&T drops theirs.

I mean, what’s another few months for a phone that we all were expecting a few months ago?

On my Premier Site (Boston University), it was either about the 7th phone down in the list, or the very last phone, depending on what way I accessed the site.

I’m in love with my Bold! I’ve had it since Saturday! It’s so cute! I’m glad they got rid of the red buttons. Does anyone know if at&t sells the desktop charger for it? Or anywhere for a good deal? I want to display it by my bed as an alarm clock. Anyway, I hope you guys are enjoying your Bolds!

It is about time. Las Vegas stores are pretty fking lame. Every single one of these bastard stores had them in stock, and they wanted to stick to the 4th date despite even podunk town with population of 3 selling the Bold.

Hehe, at least I can get one finally tomorrow hopefully! You all are great!

It’s on the premier site for me too.

Do I have to order it through premier to get that price? Can I just go to the store and tell them, this way I don’t have to wait a day for it.

Just checked wirefly and they have it for $299 / $199 after rebate and instant discount.

Not bad. My inner cheapskate is leaning toward this.

    Anyone with feedback about wirefly?

Letstalk.com has it for free (after $199 MIR) if you get a plan greater than $79.99. I’ll probably get it there then switch my plan down the road.

    WTF? Here’s the small-print from the AT&T mail-in rebate:

For a limited time, receive $100.00 in Visa Reward Cards from AT&T when ordering service on-line from this website…

So it’s not even a check you can use to pay off the card you bought the Bold on! This blows. I’ll wait for the price to drop to what it should be in the first place – $200 with no bullshit rebates.

    Coach Lon says:

Nothing new about AT&T’s rebate plan. It’s a debit card, use it for gas or whatever. I agree on the price that has had some discussion on the board, $199.00 would have been more widely accepted, but it is marketed towards their business customers who want a camera. That’s be the price for a while, 12 months at least I’d guess. I’ll visit my local store today to play with the demo…

    @dirk

AT&T always has rebates. When they do cut the price to $199, it will be $299 in store with a $100 rebate.

They bank on the chance that you’ll forget the send in the rebate and they’ll keep the money. I believe that you can use the card to pay your AT&T bill, so even though it’s not cash that you can use for your credit card, at least you can pay your wireless bill with it.

so WHY is it $999 on Premier and $549 if you walk in the store on a no-comittment price?
