Blackberry Bold now available at AT&T

Got mine yesterday. Its so wicked.
I picked mine up tonight in Exton PA at the ATT store…was $339 in store with the two year activation and the rebate…looks like a winner.
I don’t see it on the premiere site but it is on the main site. Can’t wait to check one out tomorrow.
BTW…all the local stores got their shipments today and were selling them…but the demand was strong so if you are interested you probably should not wait.
Just picked up mine earlier as well from my local store! only 4 at the store, 1 was put on display and 2 were bought by me! so excited!

I happened to walk into an AT&T store this morning to see if it would actually come out tomorrow and they said “you can have one now, they just came in” Well, of course I grabbed it………..it crashed 2 hours later with a bunch of error messages. After two or three hard resets, it seems to be working.
I just ordered mine online as an upgrade. Last week I received an email from ATT offering me a 25% discount to upgrade my 3-year old 8700c online, so I thought I’d wait to see if they’d let me take the discount for the Bold. It’s on the way!!!

Bwahahahahahahaaa. Guess this device doesn’t walk on water. Seems like it was worth the wait. Not missing my Curve and lovin’ iPhone3G.

I’m with George. $199 is the standard considering current prices, and this phone, along with the Storm, should be at that price.
At the very least they should ditch that “mail-in rebate” hose job.

By the time I got the discounts, I paid $199 + tax. I would’ve paid $299 for the Bold, considering I would’ve paid that much for the 16GB iPhone.
It was available on wirefly too.
It’s a nice phone don’t get me wrong but $299 with a mail in rebate is really a deal breaker, also all you get is 1GB of onboard storage, sure it has a memory slot but these memory cards aren’t cheap and that’s more cash you gonna have to pony. Good luck to Rimm and AT&T on this one ya gonna need it, specially with a 16GB iphone going for just $299 and no freggin waiting on $100 mail in rebate.
Local bestbuy has it for 350, said they would pricematch AT&T with the rebate, but not make me take the mail in rebate.

i recieved my “IOU” bold from the NYC launch event today…finally!!!! its super fast…the media features are great, combined with the email compononent its a true winner! having trouble putting it down…it is that good!!

What do you mean memory cards aren’t cheap?? Yeah, in store they’re mad mark up, but check out NewEgg or Tiger Direct and they are a dime a dozen. You can snag an 8 gig card for about 20-30 bucks after shipping. The thing supports up to 32GB card (yeah, haven’t found one yet). Haven’t seen an iPhone out with 32GB yet
Granted, the rebates DO suck; however, in the end, if you can’t wait for the 100 you shouldn’t be getting an iPhone or a Bold …
