Some AT&T stores to sell Blackberry Bold tomorrow
We just got word that there are a few AT&T stores out there that have the Blackberry Bold in stock, and they might be selling them as soon as tomorrow! While it’s only two days before the official release date, we know that for some of you, it couldn’t be soon enough. One of our faithful readers chimed in letting us know they were able to play around with a Bold in store. At that location, they said they’d be selling them tomorrow, November 2nd. So, after calling around and seeing whether this was an isolated case, we’ve come to learn that there are some stores that are getting ready to dish out these BlackBerrys before the official release. Before you go waiting at AT&T’s doors before they open up, be sure to call your local store first to make sure they will be selling it. Remember, this is all at the manager’s discretion and not all stores will be offering them up. If your store isn’t selling until the 4th, check out our review of the Bold from this summer to get your appetite going and to temporarily satisfy your Bold cravings.

I called a few stores in the NYC area they all said they will not get it in till the 4th. Has anyone heard of any stores carrying it today in NY?
I called several stores in Manhattan, all said the same thing “not until tues”.. several of them said even if they DID have it, they would get into “big trouble” for selling it. Who knows.. maybe if I drop by they’d sell me one

I called eleven stores in the Virginia\DC area . . . from Manassas to Fairfax to Georgetown.
They all say Tuesday, 4 November.
My at&t will be selling the Bold tomorrow morning.

Check both corportate stores on duke st and route 1 both are standing by the 11/4 release data. Blargh!! Anyone having luck in the metro dc area?

I called the two AT&T stores in DC that are open on Sunday. 1630 Conn Ave said the phone won’t be released until Nov 4th (thanks guys, tell me something I don’ know). 785 7th St said that they might have them in stock now but aren’t sure since their inventory manager is out today, but even if they did have them they couldn’t sell until the 4th. But they do have a waiting list you can put your name on and they’ll call you as soon as the phone goes on sale the 4th. Also, they women I spoke with said they have no clue as to how many they are getting nor do they have any idea when they would be getting more in. She said it was similar to how the they were in the dark regarding the iPhone.
Seriously. All this over a phone. I love my phones and gadgets just as much as the next BGR reader but come on. Some people need to get a life, a gf and a job. Or even better if you dont like BGR so much get fucking lost!
I am just amazed how some people act when they hide behind the cloak of the internet. I surely hope you don’t act like this in public. The way I see it is BGR is providing a resource free of charge and people still want to act like five year old children. Do you also scream at the weather person on your local news channel after they say ot will be sunny and it rains? No one can control what AT&T or RIM does with their products. Unless you believe you can read the minds of the people in charge of the companies, then take what leaked info is provided. If this was ten years ago, you’d still be walking in circles wondering “is it out yet?!?!?”
Which store in Miami did you go to ?
Alex where did you get it in Miami? Stores I called say they will not be getting the Bold untile the 6th or the 7th.
Hey guys…quick update from South Orange County, CA…
Called 9 stores in Ladera Ranch, Lake Forest, Mission Viejo, Laguna Niguel, Aliso Viejo, 2 in Irvine, and 2 in Tustin.
Asked if they had them in stock, all told me Tuesday Nov 4…so it looks like Austin and Miami are the lucky ones today.
Figured I’d post to save people in my area time..
Whatever…2 more days..my life is so insane and crazy it will be here before you know it!

Makes sense to me. I’m thinking about skipping the Bold and getting a Storm. My contract with ATT is up in 2 short months.
Hey SoCal folks! Old Town Passdena is selling the Bold now. Just opened up and I’m here. They said first come first served and they are not taking calls to reserve or hold Bolds. LA peeps, it’s just 7 minutes north of Downtown.

Quick update, Foothill and Rosemead in Pasadena is also selling the Bold today for you SGV folks who don’t wanna go all the way to Old Town.

How much are they selling for with no commitment pricing??
I just went into my AT&T store in Charleston, SC. They won’t have it until Tuesday, but good news if you’re in the Charlotte, NC area.
Just called the Pasadena, CA stores and they do hav them. $599.00 no commitment pricin.

I must admit I was worried the keyboard wasn’t as good as the Curve’s, but that thing was sweet. It has the look of the 88xx but the feel of the 83xx; weird. I do hope the back of the actual Bold does feel like leather. The dummy’s sure didn’t feel like it. Although bigger than the Curve, it sure felt better in the hand. We’ll see when I get the actual thing.

I knoq the owner of a store on 117th ave near a Bjs and they received 10 before the official launch and he sold them to his friends. They had ONE left yesterday for the first person that came in and asked for it.

Just thinking out loud here…but if some stores across the country have Bolds available today..wouldn’t it mean that even more stores will have them tomorrow? And finally everyone having them in stock on Tuesday?
Just wanted to throw that out there..so if you didn’t have any luck today..maybe you’ll be able to get one tomorrow..who knows…
@melodic just head up the street to foothill! You’re only 5 minutes away from a store that sells them.
