The O2 went into Verizon reps hands almost a month ago. They are trained already and have been wiating on Samsung to give the green light,

I suspect Winmo 6.5 integration issues and their desire to dump all the old phones being cleared out on the website

I am up for my New Every Two and Verizon has gone crazy with the Mail-in Rebates again… I hate MIRs!!!! So I am going to go with the Samsung u550 (no MIR) as an upgrade to an LG VX5300. BEWARE… Verizon is using Parago to handle its rebate claims… do a little googling on Parago before you make the leap.

I think your right about the coverage. My company would dump them in a heartbeat if not for the great coverage they provide. I’m afraid they have the great coverage and don’t seem to care about anything else much.

I was eying the 6850 for purchase at the end of the month. Words cannot convey how disgusted I am with Verizon. If it wasn’t for the fact that they have the best coverage (esp. 3G), I would dump them in a heartbeat.

My VZ rep told me that the XV6850 was a 2009 phone and that he would know more Q1 of 09. Be a real bummer for that phone to take so long to come out…

The phones are usually avaialble for order 2 weeks after the tests are available for the reps… keyword being usually.

That would be great.
