Blackberry Storm launch party in Los Angeles!
With the Storm coming out soon, Blackberry is throwing a little shindig in Los Angeles later this evening with Foo Fighters and Queens of the Stone Age providing the entertainment! A few who were in the know sent text messages to a specific number to try to win tickets to the show. The following morning, the winners were sent text messages with instructions on how to get into the show. Guess who’s going to be there? That’s right, the BGR team will be putting up pictures and giving you updates live from the party so be sure to check back here every so often after 7:30PM PST! Anyone else in the L.A. area going to the show? Hit us up!

BGR, I got my ticket as well. But like JayJay, I’m nervous about this ‘first 800 people’ idea. I don’t want to get there all early and find out I’m the 801st person and get the boot, haha.

I got my ticket to get in as well but I work in the OC and the earliest I can leave the office is going to be 4:30. I don’t want to drive all the way up to LA only to find out I wasn’t one of the first 800. I wonder how many of the invites they actually sent.
Well the Tmo Pearl Flip launch party was last night and they maxed out at around 760 people. This launch and the NY launch are the biggest. You guys should be fine. Good luck

I hope they announce the launch date and pricing at the event. When is the NY launch party if anyone knows?
John Legend would have been cool! No word yet on whether they’ll be handing out devices or IOUs. We didn’t think they’d hand out free Bolds at the San Francisco party a few days back, but they did. Check back tonight and you’ll know for sure!
oh my god oh my god. i love crackberry! and now they have two of my most favoritess bands ever. QOTSA and FF are great. Now all i have to do is drive around Los Angeles at 7:30 and find this joint!

So……reading the text message again it sounds like there’s a possibility that the first 800 who provided their names will be able to get in, rather than the first 800 who show up at the door. Has anybody replied to the original invite and not gotten a text back?
