Where is RIM’s MySpace application?

Not bashing them… just wondering, really. Didn’t they announce the MySpace application release would coincide with the release of the T-Mobile BlackBerry Pearl Flip 8220? Anyone care?

I care! It may actually get me to use MySpace again. Facebook has definitely taken center stage for me and the mobile app has played a big part in that.

Maybe RIM has a non-compete clause with Facebook. Like when Coke buys out university campuses.

i care only because i worry RIM has been setting expectations that they seem to be consistently failing to meet. IE Bold launch date… this myspace app.. hell im waiting on slacker app to come around. I was pretty sure RIM said by middle of October, and there hasn’t been one word said about it.

Because I’m sure it’ll notify you of new messages when you recieve them and if it’s anything like the Facebook app you’ll be able to upload pictures directly onto myspace.

I thought MySpace was creating the app for the BB not RIM.

RIM does the one for FaceBook because they have worked out a deal right?

If the MySpace application for Blackberry is as cluttered with advertisements as the actual MySpace website then heck nos. MySpace is just horrible to use in my opinion.

Honestly I think everyone outright agrees that Myspace is old and Facebook just makes more sense. I can’t remember the last time I even visited my myspace account, let alone wanting it on my phone. Facebook is like a religion to me now so I could care less what they do with McCainSpace…both old and unneeded.

Myspace works great for my band. I use the mobile app to approve friend requests on the road. I always thought the social networking component was secondary.
