Bye, bye Rogers…last week paid $ 49 (plus tax) for HTC Touch Diamond at Bell with 3 yr contract – $ 25 voice plan, $ 10 UL Web and $ 15 Smartphone bundle.

To me that’s competitive. May switch to rollover plan before the end of Dec.

I am on a waiting list for a HTC Touch Diamond at a local Roger’s dealership in my area here in Vancouver. I can’t wait! The Roger’s dealers have the HTC Touch Diamond listed in their dealer’s product brochures (the brochures ONLY for the dealers, not the public). The dealer manager thinks that the cell phone will be sold at 499.99 without a contract or 199.99 with a 3 yr contract.

HAHA compare that bell to rogers…bell is so crap. welcome to a fair fight…more like welcome bell to learn how to comepete. it only took them this long to jump on rogers bandwagon and copy them. i was on bell, it sucks, they’re stupid, have useless customer service, and terrible products.

enjoy ur 499 without a contract, and having to re-program all ur contacts and music, and pics.

face the facts, ted rogers is the 2nd richest man in canada for a reason, so stop hating. Best phones, best internet and no annoying beavers.

Rogers have been trying to put me back under contract (straitjacket) for over a year now. I keep saying no because I want an unlocked HTC phone without the limitations a Rogers phone comes with. I also travel a lot and I can just switch over to a local network with an unlocked phone for a fraction of what Rogers charges for Roaming and long distance. So this deal does seem sweet. But willit happen and will they also offer the Pro or even the HD? BTW In Montreal the Diamond unlocked is selling for 649$, the Pro for 799$ with guarantee.

I have been using the HTC Touch Diamond for a few months now, I should say it is an amazing device.
This is the first time I am using an HTC device and I highly recommend the vendor as well as the device.
I suppose there are numerous versions and colors what I am using can be seen at HTC Touch Diamond
$599 is a very good price as when I bought I just paid over $800. It was still worth.

599.99 isn’t bad other retailers here on Vancouver sell for 679 cash with no warranty or 679 plus taxes unlocked with a warranty. Also it’s not hard to unlock htc devices on your own. So I guess 599.99 isn’t that bad if you want an okay at best phone.

Yo i’m a rogers dealer and i’m not looking forward to this device, we were suppose to get the tytn II and we never did, they published this phone in the latest UR magazine so if we don’t end up getting it it will be a huge kick in the nuts, HTC has been sketchy like that
