Itchin’ to grab a T-Mobile G1 early? Let’s hope you live in San Francisco

Look, let’s be honest for a second, ok? The T-Mobile G1 is hot. Now, we had our issues with it and we have a feeling the general public will as well, but that doesn’t change the fact that this is T-Mobile’s most anticipated handset. If you live in San Francisco (or are mentally unstable enough to drive long distances to get to San Francisco), you’ll be pleased as punch to know that T-Mobile’s offering you the opportunity to swipe a G1 early. Starting tomorrow at 6PM PT, the T-Mobile San Francisco store at 3rd and Market St. will be selling G1s. You’ll want to get there a little before 6PM though. As usual, “supplies are limited.” Don’t fret if you can’t make it, because on Wednesday, all T-Mobile stores in a 3G coverage area will be opening at 8AM local time to quench your Android-loving needs. Just make sure if you end up breaking through the glass in excitement, you send in pictures. Thanks.

Finally, something fo us tmobile users that hd to put up with shitty service have something to get excited about,im definitly going to cop one of these when it comes out.

One would think that… but the G1’s are going to be very hard out. Apparently the pre-order ones were sold out.

Even if it isn’t a priority for many people, it can still be very successful. T-Mobile will add to their subscriber count, and they will retain others because of this device, all at the expense of WinMo. It’s beautiful man.

i will be there! I will already have my phone, but they will also be giving away 1 g1 and a 1000 bucks!

OK, I logged in to my tmobile to pre order a g1 like it said to do on the t-mobile home page. Once I was logged in, there wasn’t a link or anything that said anything about pre ordering the g1. So, once I’m logged in to my tmobile, where do I go to pre order a g1?

Just dropped by a couple of TMo stores out of curiousity. One of the stores hasn’t sold a single one, the other store sold one. I saw one guy with his feet literally up on a desk. That thud you hear in the background is the expectations of TMo execs hitting the floor.

The launch was busy last night in SF. The T-Mobile stores were closed, with no one camping out this morning. I’ll do a walk by at 10am when they open. @Erik, where are you?
@BlackberryMax, so far the apps are pretty boring. We’ll see what happens in the near future.
