Rogers 2009 BlackBerry lineup
Here’s what we got so far for you… Rogers is coming back into the mix in 2009 with a pretty impressive lineup of BlackBerry handsets. This isn’t by all means a definitive list, (read: possibly more devices, etc.) but it should whet your appetite a little bit. Without further ado, as told to us by one of those world-famous RIM ninjas, we have:

I asked a verizon retailer when the storm was coming to verizon and he didn’t give me a date all he said was the end of November so I hope it’s true cause my contract ends today so I’m probably gonna wait for it but if it’s not out in november I’m switching from verizon to tmobile for the g1
So if the Storm is going to Rogers, then does that mean it’s coming to AT&T at some point here?

lol well this is the launch schedule for Canada.. where the bold actually did end up launching so if your in the states just add another 6 months ontop of each of these estimates.
@4skin: you’re an idiot. First off I can provide a link on Hofo where it was mentioned before BGR posted anything. Now, Zach made a big deal about the picture and someone else using it and putting another name on it and BGR said it was pluto. Well the picture posted yesterday was of the Magnum Dumbass!! And today he says oh well the Magnum is Bold w/touchscreen. When yesterday it was pluto. And don’t try and split fucking hairs and say he was talking about the other phone which wasn’t even fucking pictured. Get you shit right bitch.

Firstly, the Magnum and Pluto launch date crap is all just rumor and innuendo that a “ninja” is feeding this site. Watching the fate of the BGR Bold launch date predictions should tell you how much you can trust this.
Secondly, a clear indication that this “lineup” is half bogus, is that there is no true next-gen Pearl on there. Blackberry is not going to replace their newest devices QWERTY devices twice before even thinking about a new candybar suretype device.
The next new device introductions for RIM, as we all know, are obviously the Storm and the Curve 8900. This will be followed by the Curve 8930 3G on Verizon in 2009Q2. After that, we’ll see a new Pearl (which will launch first as a GSM 3G device), and will available in late 2009Q2 or Q3.
The touch Bold won’t hit before 2009Q4 at the very earliest (probably 2010Q1), and the Curve 3G for GSM will definitely be well into 2010.
No need to believe me – what do I know? I’m only the guy that has in the comments on this site since July called BS on the Bold launch dates and announced that it is planned to launch on AT&T end Oct/ early Nov
I just got the bold, but I can’t help but wonder how cool the Pluto will be! Fortunately, I’m eligible for upgrade in 1 year, so perhaps I’ll ditch this one then

Just wondering – is there any word on the Storm or the Bold hitting SaskTel? I know it’s a bloody small company, but those of us in Saskatchewan are interested in getting them on a cheap plan, and we don’t get bell.
Um.. this rumor is about Rogers rollout dates. The Bold has been released on Rogers for months now.

i want the blackberry 9900, i think that phone is the best out of all of them.. Anyone know whens rogers is really going too lauch it?, because i know there is a delay right now
