This is for real, kids. Information has been pouring in left, right, and center from AT&T and RIM ninjas and we can now say for sure that AT&T is planning to launch the Bold on October 27. We repeat, October 27! You know, unless something goes “wrong” with the Bold in the eyes of AT&T and there is another delay… There’s plenty of other info on the internal email seen above so if the Bold isn’t your bag, check out full details on the rest of AT&T’s upcoming lineup. Anyway, it’s about frickin’ time, AT&T. Now that the date is nice and solid, we’ll just leave you with these internal AT&T training slides for the Bold.

Didn’t your “ninjas” say the 2nd for sure, then the 16th or 17th, then the 24th, now the 27th? Sorry, BGR, you’re starting to lose your credibility.
As far as that date, it says LATEST eta, not FINAL eta or FOR SURE eta. They don’t even have PRICING on there.
I caved last week and just bought one reasonably priced unlocked. But I feel sorry for all the people AT&T is holding this wonderful device from. Hopefully you’re right, but I wouldn’t hold my breath.

att lost me as a customer as soon april 15th rolls around i am gonna b a verizon customer hopefully with something better then a bold and maybe even better then a storm but who knows it still a ways off b4 then and a lot can happen.

Dland, Omnia is coming to Verizon first, saw it with my own hands, and yes it is sweet.
and BG, listen i WANT to belive this, i REALLY do.
is it coincidental that it is a week PRIOR to the storm being launched on verizon*? who knows, but I will say this, big blue REALLY wants to beat big red to the market with the new “must have” blackberry. but when it comes down to it you will have 2 choices come this winter.

Let’s not also forget that along with the Bold, some of the other phones on this “internal” e-mail have ETA (not release) dates that are later than previously, confirmed, no for real y’all! “leaked” info that BGR has received.

I work for AT&T, and I have not even seen that email.
You must know someone who is ARMS or ASM at AT&T. Anyway, I got my email from AT&T that I have won blackberry bold employee contest. I will be getting my bold next week. This release date is 99% sure. It is possible AT&T might delay it until early Novemeber.

i won the bold contest as well, the told me back in september that i won it. I am responsible for 220 in taxes though, but oh well. I hope this release date it 100%. I was gonna say no ARMS or ASM got this email today in our area.

I really don’t care much anymore. I’m looking at getting the HTC Fuze now, trying it for 30-days, and if I don’t like it, I’ll stick with my BB Curve until the Javelin comes out.
I just don’t have confidence that RIM and AT&T have worked out all the bugs in the Bold yet. Also, from all of the pics I have seen, it is BIG.
