A sweet little Samsung is coming to T-Mobile in the form of the Gravity T459. This slider phone should be a nice alternative for messaging freaks who don’t want to shell out for (or be seen with) a Sidekick or a more expensive QWERTY keypad device. The phone is packed with your standard features and then some, including a music player, ability to sync with PC (for easier transfer of songs and data), web2go and it’s MyFaves capable. I keep hearing that the battery sucks…any word on when the next generation of this phone will arrive? Maybe they’ll fix that problem.
yeah what he mentioned is true the space bar is kinda squishy but not every time only sometimes but anyways that doesn’t bother me and it doesn’t effect your texting in any way.

Can you set tones as your message alerts??
I have had the samsung gravity for a while now but I was wondering if there is a way to set a ringtone when you recieve a message
I just bought the samsung gravity for $9.99 with a contract. I love the phone. My only problem is..the battery is trippin. I charged the phone a whole night and it doesnt have a full battery. And when it does, the battery gets low really fast. Can someone give me advice? Do i need to return it, get a new battery or what?????
This phone sucks (or T-mobile sucks…)! I bought mine 3 weeks ago. The phone looks pretty cool, but don’t work so well. The battery gets low in less than 1 day. And the calls keep dropping. I didn’t have these problems with my old Razr…
what if you dont buy the internet on the phone? can u still us instant messaging? and buy ringtones and stuff. cuz for some reason.. i cudnt wen i had a sidekick.. idk y.

How can you make ring tones from your own music and not buy from t-moble? Is it possible?

how do you get the key tones to shut up?! they can be set to xylophone, but this only applies to number keys when dialing. the qwerty keyboard keys still make a beep-tone and the number row sounds like normal dial-key tones!
what is going on? and why is there no option to mute the keytones?!

The battery sucks.
To solve that problem call tmoible and tell them they will send you one out free of charge.
And then you will have 2 so carry one as spare also if you turn your phone 1-2 times a day that could help battery life.
the only way to quiet down the keypad tones i have found is to turn the volume down, it doesnt seem to have an option for ‘none’. same with the qwerty you have to silence the phone tho
and the battery sucks but some people seem to have good ones so after 3 months of griping theyre finally sending a new one
how do you sync with the pc?
This phone is irrritatingly awful. Samsung advertises that it is SDHC compatible and it IS NOT!. It will only take standard micro SD. Also, you cannot customize text message alerts in ANYWAY. Only the 4 .mid files that come on the phone, you cant even add midi files to the phone for message alerts, battery life is horrible. Im returning mine on monday

If the inbox becomes full, does it ask to delete all messages, or just automatically delete from the end of the inbox?
