Samsung Gravity T459 hitting T-Mobile Nov. 17

A sweet little Samsung is coming to T-Mobile in the form of the Gravity T459. This slider phone should be a nice alternative for messaging freaks who don’t want to shell out for (or be seen with) a Sidekick or a more expensive QWERTY keypad device. The phone is packed with your standard features and then some, including a music player, ability to sync with PC (for easier transfer of songs and data), web2go and it’s MyFaves capable. The GSM/EDGE phone comes in Lime with Gray (as shown) and Aqua with White. Hit the jump for full specs and additional images!

Web 2 go. Is very similar to T-Mobile Web but is much better. It allows for a more PC like experience when browsing web pages. I just had my training on it and T-mobile has some really cool features in web 2 go.

Are there devices in this form factor that also are made as thin as possible? Thinking along lines of RAZR, Samsung Trace or Nokia 5310. Why not take the thinness of those and merge with sliding QWERTY? These always seems thicker than they need to be, given where other phones (often from same manufacturer) are at.

Anyone have thoughts or insight into a device?

Ha the gravity was never going to AT&T, plus if you followed the new articles you’d know it’s been bound for T-Mobile, and comes out the 17th of this month.

web2go is another name for t-zones (aka the internet on your phone). They just want to make it or interesting sounding.

without a contract the phone will cost $249.99, and Web2Go is not like Tzones, it’s actually a better web experience that enables customers to view the full web with a fully customizable homescreen, and with certain phones streaming video. The newer phones will provide a better web2go experience, but an OTA update will allow certain older handsets to work with Web2Go as well. No offense but people need to do their research before answering! Thanks!
