Moto has always made quality handsets. Their problem is that they are always late in the game at adressing niche markets, and they’re greatest acheivement to this point is the Ming A1800, which isn’t even availible in North America. The A1600 aka Verizon Krave ZN4, has all of the smartphone options locked out.It’s just an ordinary handset. This is very poor marketing >(JP)…..

Yes, although, you might lose a bit of UI interaction functionality. In fact the T-Mobile G1 has a trackball which can be used instead. The SDK emulator has a simple arrowpad which can be used to use most apps on the phone.

this might be a dumb question. But is it possible to create an android device thats not touch screen? Does the android sdk provide non-touch screen dev tools?

the deviceb is sure to have a great user interface, the guy heading up motorola’s android group came from Good Technology, (push email solution moto aquired in 05).

If its a motorola I probably wouldn’t waste my money. As far as I’m concerned they haven’t made a good phone since the original V3!
