Huge Ad on WSJ for Blackberry Storm

We’ve known for a while that it was coming, but nothing says it’s going to be here soon like, well, the words “Coming soon.” This ad has just appeared on the Wall Street Journal as well as other newspapers this morning. Other carriers (Vodafone) have made their official announcements for Blackberry’s first-ever touch screen and it’s been rearing its head on VZW’s site, but nothing says “official” like a full page ad on one of the most widely read publications out there. Expect a flood coming along with the Storm as this is likely just the beginning of a slew of ads to come from Verizon!
Thanks to everyone who sent this in!

It felt kind of papery when I touched the ad, and it left ink all over my fingers. I’m not very excited anymore.

I’m really looking foreward to the Storm, but I want to read some reviews first. I hope the interface isn’t as convoluted as blackberries tend to be.

Soo I was all set on the BB Storm and then we got an e-mail today with VZW’s new rebate forms and it has the Samsung Omnia(That’s right, the Omnia is headed to VZW in the next month!!!)…
Now I don’t know what to do? It’s like being a kid in a candy shop. I suppose I’ll have to play around with both of ‘em before making my final decision.

So WTF is up with the Bold? Is the Bold RIM’s newest bastard child? The Bold has yet to be released in the US and I already feel like it’s old news and old technology. Way to go RIM/at&t.
And carrier exclusives can suck a big ole cock!

Did ya’ll see the Verizon commercial on TV on Sunday night football?! It SUCKED! I am psyched for this device but man what a horrible commercial. A 5 sec clip of a lifeless Blackberry coming to Verizon; whoopie. Meanwhile 5 minutes later the iphone commercial comes out and they show a real demo, you know install app, touch this, touch that… and oh I got a call!
not sure if its RIM or verizon, but they seriously needs to tune up on that marketing strategy.

well, maybe it’s just me, but the iPhone print ads are WAY more responsive. I think they have a more stable ink. it’s just another iPhone print ad knock off, if you ask me.

I have a raging erection for this phone and will be selling my iphone for it. 175 dollar early termination fee? Oh well… I’ll finally have a phone that can do things like copy/paste, send and receive pictures without memorizing stupidass username/passwords (on a site that never works I might add), and on a more consistent network. BOIIIIINGGGGGGGG

Why ‘Coming soon’ then? Why don’t state the release date? Sounds like ‘please don’t forget us but you will need to wait’.
