Samsung A867 for AT&T found in the wild
The Samsung Mirage, er… Eternity or whatever they end up calling it has been spotted in the wild. Looks like a pretty nice touch screen so far, much like the Omnia. Whether Samsung is trying to confuse everyone with all the numbers, or the constant change in names (if the names have actually been decided upon), one thing is for sure - all you Samsung fans out there have a lot to look forward to! It seems this phone will be a direct competitor to the LG Vu that AT&T is currently carrying as the A867 will have MediaFLO support. Other specs include a 3MP camera, 16GB expandable storage (perfect for the 16GB microSD cards SanDisk just busted out with a while back), AGPS, and a 3.5mm headset jack so you can use most of your favorite headphones for this bad boy. Look for it next month where it will likely run about $150 with contract and maybe a mail-in-rebate. We’ve also heard rumors that the LG Vu was in fact about to be end-of-lifed, so get ready for some turf wars.

@ whasgood: I’m with you! These AT&T bitches just doesn’t get with the program…U.S. is waaaay behind with the rest of the world regarding cell technologies. There’s clear demand for better tech in the U.S. Iphone simply isn’t advanced enough or flexible enough for the most advanced users. Steve Jobs and ATT should shove their Iphones up their ASSHOLES!

I agree. We are totally being left behind when it comes to cell technologies. Europe has the best phones with 5mp cameras,touchscreen, wifi..etc..
What do we have Iphone: 2mp,with no bluetooth connection from phone to phone.. iphone sucks..Why can’t have the same phones Europe has ? And why do US carriers have to mess with the phones, downgrade them, and lock them when adopting some of these phones!!!!!!!!!
