HTC T8290 with WiMAX

What you’re looking at is an image of a WiMAX-enabled HTC Touch, the T8290. Details are sketchy at best, but it’s looking like this thing is loaded to the teeth with a massive 3.8″ 480 x 800 WVGA display, WiMAX + GSM, 802.11g WiFi, Bluetooth 2.0 and video calling capabilities. It would be nice to see a phone like this hit Sprint’s XOHM network as a sort of peace offering for our missing out on the Touch HD, but word is this device is going to the Ruskies on Yota first (that is, if we ever see it at all).

Who cares what phones Sprint brings when they have had the worst service since their crappy PCS days. What a nightmare, you would think in over 10 years they would have improved.

HTC is really the hardest working mobile company in the world. I was just about to send you a tip about this…guess you beat me to it, lol

HTC is not the hardest working, if that was the case they could provide devices worldwide. They have stated that they do not intend to do that because of their own business model.

This does look good but might be a little large to be comfortable in the hand.
