Motorola Q11 now official and coming in December

If you have been looking for an alternative to Blackberry or Nokia smartphones, the Motorola Q11 might be a good option. Some live shots floated around the Internet for a little while, but it’s now official and just cruising under the radar. Where it will be released and how much has yet to be determined, but we hear the device should be “affordable,” so expect it to compete with the major smartphone players. But just how affordable will it be? Well, the phone comes without 3G – major bad move for Motorola! Please, will someone tell me why MOT finds it necessary to have the screen not centered?!?!?! It’s off to the right and drives me nuts. I have had other versions of this phone and they all suck.

I find it hard to believe it’ll be on ATT network. Maybe TMo will get this phone since, although that is puzzling with their expanding 3G. The Q9h has 3G, so it wouldn’t make sense no to include it in the ’superior’ upgrade. But who makes sense these days.

64mb of ram–you have to be kidding. The Q9H has 96mb of ram, while the Blackjack II nets over a 100 after system use. Why does motorala insist on technological regression? Although, I do applaud the inclusion of an actual delete key on the keyboard, but cosmetically it is just lipstick on Sara Palin.
