October / November Best Buy Mobile release schedule shows Storm, Bold, Pearl Flip and more
When our ninjas dig, they dig deeeeep. One of our anonymous sleuths managed to uncover a relatively old slide from a Best Buy Mobile PowerPoint draft deck outlining a release schedule with quite a few gems on it. We’ve got all the top carriers covered here to some extent, so let’s have a look:
Coming October 26th:
- Sprint – Samsung M540 “Rant”, available in black, purple and red
- Sprint – HTC Touch Pro
- Verizon – Blitz
- AT&T – BlackBerry Bold 9000 (date obscured on image)
- T-Mobile – BlackBerry Pearl Flip 8220
Coming November 16th:
- Verizon – BlackBerry Storm
Barring any major changes (or delays, as we’ll likely see at least with the Bold), Best Buy Mobile has quite a line up coming later this month.
HAHAHA.. Not gonna lie, I didn’t even so much look at the picture. I read the dates in the post. That is just funny. I LOVE the fact that the storm has the BGR logo in the corner.. Good stuff!
I’ll hold off on the iPhone to see what the Storm has to offer. I’ll definitely get it at Best Buy because they offer a better price. The Verizon store will make you pay more then have you do a rebate. Best Buy doesn’t.
And 10/26 happens to be my B-Day…
OMG, I really hope it comes out on the 26th, that’ll be a perfect B-day gift for me…..
I would love to think that the Bold will be out the 26th at Best Buy but do they do that on Sunday’s? Seems like a strange day to bring out a new item.

Even if you over look the fact that some of the phones have shadows while other don’t.
Even if you over look the fact that some of the phones have colored backgrounds while other don’t.
Even if you over look the fact that some of the carrier names are in bold while others aren’t.
You can’t over look the fact that the picture of the BB Storm is branded with a BGR watermark, meaning that whoever created this obvious fake could only get his hands on the BGR leaked picture of the storm.
So I’m supposed to believe Best Buy the largest electronice chain in the US has a random slide that they show to execs or whatever that happens to branded right in the centerr with a BGR watermark? Give me a break..lol
I thought the HTC Touch Pro was to be released on Oct 19th? The above says in stores, so perhaps it will be available to order on Oct 19th and be delivered on or around Oct 26th. Can’t wait!
My mistake. In BEST BUY stores. Still available to order directly from Sprint on Oct 19th.
Thread is already inaccurate as even AT&T won’t sell the Bold this month because they already said Nov at the earliest, there is no way so little co-seller like Best Buy would have it and they wouldn’t.
