Leaked: Vodafone Storm Launch Video
Apologies in advance to everyone who is sick and bloody tired of all of the Storm coverage as of late, but something as highly anticipated as the Storm has to be covered, right? Leaked out today was the Vodafone Storm launch video and it’s easily one the hippest videos we’ve ever seen to launch a mobile phone. It covers all of the main features of the phone like it’s accurate typing, horizontal/vertical screen layout, 3.2 megapixel camera, preloaded IM and social network apps, HTML browwer, media player, and all of the other goodness that the BlackBerry brand bring to mind. The only bad thing about the video is the ending tag line of “Incredible Power In Your Hands.” We’re not even going to go there…

verizon prob will screw up the ad for it, so hopefully it’ll be RIM playing a US version later this week during the playoffs. I would hope Verizon is doing the internet ads, and leaked word of mouth crap. At least the weekly info sessions should be over as we know pretty much everything about the damn phone.

no joke about this video being good. i had all but blown off this phone in favor of the G1, but now i just might have to test out this “clicking screen” device and a touchscreen BB OS in person before i make a real decision.
p.s. who ever is producing these over at RIM has excellent musical taste. the italian leak had sam sparro, and this one rocks the simian mobile disco. excellent.

im seriously praying that it should come b4 the holidays on either tmobile or some other carrier because all hype of blackberry bold is gone. we have waited to darn long for that device now i dont feel like even buying and using it

Great marketing. You have to give it to RIM. Wonder if AT&T gives a damn with their constant delays with the Bold/network problems. If Verizon ran a GSM network I would be there in a heart beat.

Any news on the web browser? Is it just an updated blackberry browser? It looks as such in the videos and pics I’ve seen. I do not think an Opera alternative will be available for the “touchscreen,” so are we stuck with the bb browser? I hope it is a good upgrade!

The video is great and hopefully Verizon can follow suite and give us all something to dream about. Can’t wait for this phone.

LTE is more like CDMA than GSM.. of course unless to you GSM is simcard
