while I will most likely be purchasing this phone, its looks raise questions. to me this looks like a prototype design sent to production in an effort to get to market asap.

I’m going to have to agree with kanebb. It may have an amazing OS, but just look at it.

Don’t get me wrong, I love HTC and they have some amazing looking devices, but what happened to this one?

kanebb, that’s a bit harsh. For a touch phone w/qwerty keyboard it’s not too bad. Also, since it’s HTC, build quality should be very good (I’ve had a Tilt for a long time and find it to be very solid)
