T-Mobile G1 Presale Delivery Update
Just a few days ago, the T-Mobile G1 went completely out of stock shortly after announcing its availability for pre-order. We’ve just received information that the device is now back on pre-order status:
The T-Mobile G1 with Google pre-sale offer continues to be a success. T-Mobile has sold through the number of pre-sale phone available to be delivered by the October 22 launch date. However, T-Mobile is offering customers to continue to place pre-orders through October 21 for device delivery on November 10.
The following updates have been made to the delivery timeline for the pre-sale offer:
Customers who purchased the G1 through the pre-sale offer prior to 12 p.m. PT on October 3 are scheduled to receive their device by October 22.
Customers who purchase the G1 through the pre-sale offer after 12 p.m. PT on October 3 will receive their device on November 10.

Given the great anticipation and the heavy pre-sale demand for the T-Mobile G1 with Google, we nearly tripled the number of phones initially available for delivery on our Oct. 22 launch date, and have sold through them all. However, to accommodate additional T-Mobile customers who want to pre-order a device, they now have the opportunity to place a pre-order through Oct. 21, for delivery at a later date.
Also, people can still pre-register on the T-Mobile G1 Web site to be notified prior to launch where they can purchase the device beginning Oct. 22. Details are available on the T-Mobile G1 Web site, www.T-MobileG1.com.

That’s awesome. Gj tmo. Not too long of a wait at least. But honestly, I’m not even dropping another dollar for another phone until I see some major stability in our economy after this week x[…
Thank god i ordered mine on October 2 at 10:00AM.
Wouldn’t it makes sense to pick one up at the T-Mobile store on Oct. 22, instead of pre-ordering now and having to wait until Nov. 10th? I mean, if want want one right away.

*Customers who purchased the G1 through the original pre-sale offer and their order was placed prior to 5:30 p.m. PT on October 3 should receive their device by the October 22 launch date (delivery date may vary).
*Customers who purchase their G1 through the extended pre-sale offer after 5:30 p.m. PT on October 3 will receive their device on November 10 (delivery date may vary).
Customers can continue to visit http://www.t-mobileg1.com for information regarding the G1 and the pre-sale offer.
Action Steps
*Be aware that customers who purchased the G1prior to 5:30 p.m. PT on October 3 should receive their device by October 22.
*Inform customers who purchase a G1 after 5:30 p.m. PT on October 3 through the pre-sale offer that they should receive their device on November 10.

@ mklab, if you don’t live in a 3g area you can’t buy one at the local store. So you’re stuck ordering it
My understanding is that the pre-order price is $179 and that is what I paid on the 1st. If you wait until they go on sale, the price is $399 I believe.
Yes i’m so glad i order mine on oct.2 i cant wait to get that phone T mobile has finaly came out with a great phone i cant wait to use it… hurry up oct.22…..
I’m so glad i order mine on 9-29 i couldn’t wait for it even though i could just go to the store and pick it up. I just can’t wait to open the box and play with mine.
I just checked the UPS site and mine will ship on Oct 21,2008 I ordered it on Sept 25.. I’m in Palm Beach Gardens, FL… I hope that helps people with the shipping issues..
Folks…..i ordered mine on the day of the launch and should be in my hands on monday(oct 20). Put ur mobile number as the reference number on the UPS web site and u shud know where ur handset is….mine says that 20th oct is the delivery date…cant wait for it…..
I wanted to know if someone could help me out. I order my phone on nov 29 and i checked the ups site and it just has the the billing information received. that was on the 16th and nothing has change yet. I called tmobile to check if it said ship but it still had the back order recording. Has anyone else have this problem.
Hey I called t-mobile they said the 2nd re-porder will be delivered THIS WEEK !!!!
tmobile told me to expect it to be here by the 10th (second order)
