I’ve heard so many rumors.. and one of them is that RIM won’t come out untill after the New Year.

Knowing how slow Verizon is to set up huge hype and release phones when they are almost extinc, I wouldn’t be surprised if this shows up… next summer.

Kelly, I appreciate the answer although I don’t agree. You jabbed RIM for delays with AT&T Bold, Rogers Bold, Blackberry Sunset Curve, Sprint Curve. The Curve and the Bold have released on other carriers. I still don’t understand how its RIMs fault some carriers are slower to release? RIM doesn’t control the carriers testing processes, approval or marketing decisions.

The Bold problem you linked in the post is with AT&T, not RIM. If you lived in Germany, Chile or other countries you could buy a Bold. But in the US AT&T hasn’t released yet. What info do you have the RIM is delaying the Bold on AT&T & Rogers while the rest of the world’s carriers are selling it? Seems like a carrier decision, not a RIM delay.

I’m not the only loyal reader that sees the consistent pro-AT&T/anti-Verizon Pro-iPhone/Anti-RIM slant of these posts.

hey guys I know that everyone says this stuff, but I assure u, today at work my boss said that the storm was launching on nov. 2nd. He said that he wants to have a line outside our Verizon store. I think we could make that happen if we play are marketing right but I doubt we can match the iPhone launch. But trust me guys it’s coming nov. 2nd for sure. I for one can’t wait to get my hands on it! But what sucks is….If I done win one with our contest going on via email I might have to buy on full retail cause it takes us forever to make new phone availible foe employees.

Sorry, but the iPhone wouldn’t be the iPhone if it had a physical keyboard, and the BlackBerry Katrina isn’t a Blackberry without one. Instead, it’s more like the “Crystal Pepsi” of BlackBerrys. Seriously, what’s next? Maybe a one-button MS mouse?

Can we give the “BGR loves Apple and hates everyone else” argument? It’s getting repetitive, and you aren’t locked in to this site. Plus, all you guys that hang your hats on that tired claim can spend more timing doing what you do best. . .petting the one-eyed snake and soiling your white briefs.

Now this is going to be interesting if ATT releases the bold soon. RIM will be selling 3 diffrent exclusive phone with 3 diffrent companies around the same time. The Bold with Att, the pearl flip with T-mobile and now the Verizion Blackberry Storm. Kindof takes away from having whole exclusive rights thing doesn’t it. LoL

I agree, I think AT&T is sitting on the Bold so they can compete with VZW’s Storm. Storm wins! Bold is like any other BlackBerry except is has nice speakers..oohhhh…..nice speakers, who cares!

You read my thoughts earld. BGR always needs to give jabs to Blackberry and Verizon because its obvious they are iFanboys.

Maybe Kelly can clarify the ‘you know how RIM does’ comment. As far as I can tell the only delay with RIM lately is the Bold… but that’s an AT&T thing. Gasp… BGR would never speak ill of glorious AT&T. It must somehow be RIMs fault that only AT&T can’t get the Bold out to customers.

Ever consider AT&T is holding the Bold on purpose. They launch it end of November to try and steal back some Thunder from Verizon after the Storm release. With people buzzing about a new RIM device AT&T releases theirs and catches some RIM customers hungry for any new RIM device. AT&T can ride the curtails of all the pro-Blackberry advertising & articles floating around the Storm. Plus AT&T can claim the Bold is newer since it came out last – we all know there are dumb customers that will buy any crap AT&T spews.
