Plazmic 4.6 CDK available for developers to make Bold themes
The developer craziness is just flooding the streets these days with new platforms and apps waiting to be made awesome. Now, Plazmic 4.6 CDK will allow BlackBerry-lovers to design and develop sweet new themes for the Bold. While it seems that the Bold is pretty much everywhere but here (United States), the ability to create themes for the new ‘Berry hadn’t been widely available up until now. So if you are in a country where the Bold is available or you simply want to make some themes for kicks and are awaiting a Bold yourself, hit the read link to download the developer’s tool.

well I see a bold so I have to ask, its the 24th are at&t stores able to place orders already??
Yeah how about it BGR. You stated in previous announcements that AT&T stores will be able to place orders for the Bold today. Spill the beans. What do you know or have heard in the rumor department.

I’d like to note that this is a beta, not the official version of CDK v4.6. This version does not allow theme builders to use fonts that are not the pre-installed BB fonts packaged with the CDK. Every time you change a font, then attempt to export a theme, the program crashes.
It’s too bad my BES locks down anything cool in the name of draconian “security”.

Why have Bold Themes when there is NO Bold?
Well, Terry, like I said in the post, the Bold is pretty much “everywhere but here.” It’s available now in Canada and a lot of folks in the U.S. (likely ones closer to the Great White North) have picked it up and had it unlocked for use with AT&T. Soon we’ll have our day… soon.

Because 31 other countries have the Bold just cause you don’t..doesn’t mean ya have to piss in everyone else’s cornflakes lol

The bold is not coming to AT&T on October 2nd. It has been pushed back from Somtime late october to november ETA. I am 99% sure of it.
I mean BG is sticking to oct 2nd, and if it doesnt come on that date, then the bold should ship with a bottle of K-Y for the way they are F*cking us!

It’s good work on my Bold (480×320).
Actually, you can use other fonts. You have to edit a properties file. I did it and my theme exports.
does this work for the blackberry curve 8330?
