Nokia preparing to launch Tube on October 2nd?
Word on the street is that everyone’s favorite Finnish handset manufacturer has a big announcement prepared for October 2nd. Rumors are swirling that that company is set to formally introduce the much-anticipated Tube touchscreen device at a special event in London. If true, the event would coincide with the full-scale launch of the company’s Comes With Music distribution system. Nokia is on the record as promising to have the Tube in our eager hands by the end of the year, so an October 2nd announcement followed by a retail release sometime after would make sense. Additionally, obvious competition from all angles make a Nokia touchscreen device announcement in the very near future that much more probably. That being said, we’ve been hearing a variety of things about the tube as of late, most recently referring to an October 8th release that seemed dubious at best given the myriad delays that have afflicted development. Stay tuned, as we’ll no doubt hear more in the coming days.

If no US then don’t care. Maybe someday Nokia can see the US as profitable, guess its not now though.

Well, Since this announcement is likely to be Euro only, I’ve went ahead and purchased an iPhone b/c as interested as I am in this device, Nokia will likely take their sweet time bringing to the US.

Nokia can keep this one. I got to test it for 5 days and I have to say that it does not seem what it is. The touch screen is not that good and the UI is not simplethe use of stylus is highly recomended to move with in the contacts and other functions. The touch still lags and hope that by release that would be fixed by Nokia. Above all the unit feels cheap like a $100 starter unit.

are you really attacking his grammar? If you do not like how he types, or what he says, go read another blog. I, for one, am smart enough to understand what is being said despite an error or two, and i suggest you learn to do the same.
I reall do not understand why people read a blog just to try to make an ass out of people, it is quite sad.
