LG Xenon hitting AT&T before Christmas?
We just got our perfectly manicured hands on a photo of what we’re told is the LG Xenon. It was described to us as being in AT&T’s labs right now undergoing testing, and it should be available before Christmas. As you can see, it’s a slider device with a full QWERTY keyboard. It’s also got UMTS/HSDPA, a 3 megapixel camera, A-GPS, Wi-Fi, an accelerometer, and even a proximity sensor. Here’s the run down on all the specs:
- Quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE
- Dual-band UMTS/HSDPA (850MHz/2100MHz)
- 950 mAh battery
- It’s physical size is 105.5 x 53.5 x 15.8 mm
- 240×480 2.8″ LCD
- 3 megapixel FF +VGA (VT)
- 100MB of memory with microSD support up to 16GB
- Bluetooth 2.0
- USB 2.0
- Wi-Fi
- EMP U330 Lite Chipset
All in all, not bad LG. Not bad.

i want this phone sooo bad!! anyone know when its gonna come out early december middle december or what?? im contemplating on going to the store to get a new phone in the meantime then return when this one comes out =]

have you ever used a voyager or env? they put the space bar one the side because then they have room for the number keys, otherwise they have to add another row of keys. lg isnt stupid

I haven’t heard any updates about this phone since this was published. Any news? Is it still going to be released?
im tryin to stay hopeful w this phone. havent heard any updates on its release. im thinking of getting the matrix, especially if this doesnt come out.

There has been no info on this phone at all….this sucks. Would make a killer first Android device for AT&T being touch and all. I guess it’s time to put it off my radar.

almost has the idea of the samsung glyde where it has a touch and slide out keyboard and the keyboards look a little similar but the xenon looks to be bigger touch screen and bigger phone and not as skinny as the glyde.
well, its christmas and no sign of this phone yet.. instead of getting this phone for christmas i got money for this phone. do u kno how much this will be? at least the price range? i need to get a new phone. my blackberry broke. dont buy a blackberry. u will regret it!

It didnt comeout before christmas, and i needed a new smart phone. I don’t want to spend $300 on the HTC Fuze, and i dont like iPhones. I had to get the quickfire because of this article lying….

It is now January 19, still no sign of this phone, and no updates, are you just getting peoples hopes up BGR, or is this phone really comming out. You need to update your info.
I’ve been searching for a new phone since October of 2008. I’ve looked every where for the perfect phone, and I just found out about this phone on saturday. This is the perfect phone for me and I’m wondering where is it? I’ve looked everywhere for information, and everywhere keeps giving me the same info and picture. I doubt that this phone will even come out the 25th or else we would’ve at least gotten a price. I’m hoping that I’m wrong and it comes out the 25th. If not, that means I’m going to be stuck with this Virgin Mobile phone till who knows when!
