this phone s garbage i have one and so far i c ant get internet there is no headphone jack to listen to music it could use a stylist as well as touch screen no one though this phone through it was just rushed to market so i am going to close my 5 year account with T-mobile and go with the i phone

yo….evry1 is saying stuff bout the fone lyke they own it…why dont yew guys ATLEAST just use it once nd then yew can tell us if its good or not…nd second, the iphone sux….my whole family has the iphone nd it broke down on all of us, nd jus cuz its android it mite not evn b all dat great, AND its pretty cheap, jus 175 for that….that obviously tells us something, expensive fone like tilt is bettr….tilt nevr broke down on me…nd they basically copied blackberry w/ the roller…copied iphone w/ errything except the slider, nd copied tilt with EVERYTHING but they jus made it thinner nd the buttons look different but act the same.so therefore…all yew guys need 2 calm down nd go chek the fone out first…damn

Does it really matter in the end? I mean a phone is a phone you make calls and send text! Anything after that is a bonus of the phone! Who cares iphone,blackberry,G1 buy it if you like it, save your money if you don’t. That simple people!!!

I think the Samsung Instinct is a much better phone than the iPhone and I hope this G1 will spice up the phone wars. It is 1 ugly m()th3rf&Ck3R though!

I think this phone is just the answer to T-Mobile’s prayers as well as the people who can’t stand Apple/Mac or the keyboardless iPhone. Can’t wait to get it!!! iPhones are overrated. It’s a phone…not a piece of jewelry. Quit your yappin’ over the aesthetics of the phone. Some of the ugliest looking phones I’ve had were the better than the ‘prettier’ ones, that’s for sure. And yes…it has WiFi. I can’t wait to try it out! I’m getting mine on 10/22!!!

Hey, “bigdickbastahd” (riiight…lol) you exude ignorance when you speak. HTC is a Taiwan based company not Korean. Secondly Samsung is a one of the leading companies in electronics and is a Korean based company. Learn the actual facts before you speak. Now on the phone I have mixed emotions about it. Ill buy it and if I don’t like it, it can be returned in 14 days for a full refund.

I own an iPhone. The touch keyboard is 2 times bigger than any other smartphone. It can change letters to numbers with a button, hint, plastic keyboards can not do that. Plus there is chrome on the iPhone. Also, Apple is very, very reliable on updates, unlike other smart phones, where there is no updates at all. The Battle Rages On!

Here’s the final say; iphone sucks and looks like something a flamer concocted in his sleep. G1 is a sh*t phone too cuz its made by HTC(nothing from Korea is good or decent) not to mention the crappy design of it(why do u need trackball if it has touchscreen AND keyboard?) I’ve owned 3 HTC phones and they all sucked, this will be no different. Iphone lovers-why are u even reading about the G1 if you’re so happy with your “superior” b*tch iphone? Roger, you’re just a miserable old pole smoker and nothing you say can possibly even be misconstrued as uplifting or inspiring. Shut your cumdumpster. Touchscreen phones ALL suck. Especially overrated iphones and this horrifying excuse for a smartphone…..Blackberry for Life.

its not a pretty thing, and one thing that the iphone touched on is design MATTERS. As for the silly MENU button – label – thingy its horrible.

Oh my god, I’m going to throw my other two phones on the fire right now. I’m going to go build a blazer in my back yard, and burn them into steaming piles of plastic goo, just so I can get myself properly psyched up for this phone to be available for purchase. I’m going to buy and iPhone just so I can smash it in the street.

Get a grip people, it’s a goddamn PHONE. Who the hell cares what it has on it, it’s a tiny little phone that can display maps and email. Why don’t all of you save the $300 or whatever this thing will cost, keep using the phone you have that’s probably no more than 6 months old, and go out for a nice dinner, or see a concert, or take a weekend road trip.
