O2 Germany to get the HTC Touch HD

Theunwired.net posted some beautiful photos of the Touch HD on their website Sunday. Some more eye candy for those of us who just cant get enough of this sleek and sexy phone. They casually mentioned in their post that the HTC Touch HD used in the photo shoot was a marketing sample provided by O2 Germany which will exclusively launch the Touch HD in Germany. Wow, that is some news you just dropped in our laps there fellas. O2 Germany is now the first carrier mentioned for the HTC Touch HD and yes, O2 Germany customers you can now jump for joy. I can’t stand sprint, switching to Verizon next month. Hoping to get the Blackberry storm in November, i doubt the HTC HD will be available next month or november.

Sprint isnt goin any where lol… They have the 2nd best newtwork in the nation the best 3g and the only 4g lol you guys are delusional plus they pretty much have the ptt market cornered… But sprint will probably get this one first and Im pretty sure it will come we got every major htc phone but the tilt and there really is no reason for sprint to get that… so yea ill be sellin my touch pro when that comes out

I hope Verizon gets this phone cause I WILL be getting it. I’ll get the Touch Diamond next month since that has rumored to be the launch date for Verizon, then switch it for the Storm on November 1st. If this comes along the way before before then I’ll ultimately get this instead then

Sprint will be prob be getting this soon.. Either for q4 or q1…
And Verizon’s Diamond will be a BIG water down version of Sprint’s Diamond…
Look at the Specs Sprint will have huge sales of the HD..

Besides who wants a locked down branded to the service provider phone anymore anyways?
I’m on this when it comes out but the unlocked 3G US spec version only.

Maybe this is the reason why Sprint didn’t announce or promote the Touch Diamond til right before the release unlike the Instinct. If Sprint is planning on bringing the HTC Touch HD to their network than this would be their actual iPhone competitor not the Instinct.

This unit looks great, I hope is has real VGA out to connect to a full size monitor and keyboard. Then just connect to a Virtual Keyboard and you have a NirvanaPhone

Just cause HTC launches a phone in GSM flavor doesn’t mean Sprint cannot eventually get it (e.g. HTC Touch).
Last year this time the GSM Touch had been out a few months in Europe and by Christmas time Sprint had the Touch.
So I bet at this very moment, just as we’re all salivating over this phone, Sprint & Verizon are doing the same.
Sprint would probably get it 1st.

The company’s best bet I would say would be to release it with verizon. releasing with sprint they will not only have to compete with sales of the Iphone but phones like Samsung’s omnia as well, which will give them a good run for there money. tmobile is also releasing google’s andriod phone on oct 22, which is htc’s dream phone. On verizon htc will only have to compete with the storm which is blackberry’s 1st all touch screen phone, the 1st gen may have some problems we’ll have to wait and see. For strong windows mobile fans the hd won’t have any competition on verizon.

Ok My big question is how does it compare to the Iphone….and I know its the biggest WM phone as far as screen and the best as far as..(Everything) but what about going outside in the sun, can I finally see my damn screen outside without it touching my nose. Im tired of ppl waving their iphones in my face and I have to tuck my htc touch in my pocket before anyone sees. all Im saying is I wanna hold this B^&%^ in the air like the Olympic torch and say “yea b!*&%ez htc touch HD in yo A##”

HTC can make their phones either GSM or CDMA. HTC releases their phones in Asia and Europe first with GSM. So, I bet money that Sprint will be the first to get the CDMA “HD”. Sprint is soooooo in bed with HTC right now.
