T-Mobile / Android press event September 23rd, we’ll be there

The much anticipated Android OS from Google seems like it will be soon upon us, friends. T-Mobile’s holding an Android press event in NYC on September 23rd (rumors were correct) and you can bet that BGR will be there to relay all the juicy details and pictures to the masses. It looks like Google is being more careful about living up to all the hype. Where it seemed like the iPhone 2.0 Firmware was a beta, Andy Ruben, Google’s mobile chief, says that Android is in its final stages of testing and that they can’t afford to be riddled with bugs and problems at launch. Way to do it right, guys. Let’s hope that’s true, and the G1 or whatever name they’ll be calling the device doesn’t disappoint.

We’ll be there too, BGR… hope to see you there! And by the way, you might want to delete the “google map” in the image that also pinpoints the location. (And then feel free to edit my post).

Not disappoint? You’re kidding, right? No matter how good this phone turns out to be, there will be haters here and everywhere else. You guys wouldn’t know what to do if you didn’t have products to hate. . .it’s not like you get many dates when you live in your mom’s basement and all.

To Perspective you are right there will be haters. Some people just love to hate. If the OS and handset is solid there shouldn’t be any valid reasons to hate. Name anyone who truly hates the macs os or how well emails work on the blackberries.
