HTC Touch Diamond now available from Sprint
We know a lot of you have been waiting patiently for an American release of HTC’s flagship handset, and thankfully Sprint has finally stepped up to the plate and delivered the goods. The Touch Diamond is now available for order online from Sprint.com. The official price is $249.99 with a $100 rebate and 2-year contract, though qualifying for the rebate itself requires the addition of some form of data plan. We’re not sure if this one has hit physical retail channels yet, but if not it certainly can’t be long now before Sprint branded Touch Diamonds are running wild through the streets. Anyone take the plunge? Let us know!

I ordered my HTC Diamond and don’t have an everything plan. I have an Regular Plan 400M and Unlimited Data. This Phone doesn’t need anything Unlimited but I highly suggest it with the power this phone has.I have been extra hyped about this phone.I don’t know what the big deal is about the rest of this group paying the $349.99 for this incredible phone.Don’t waste your money on anything less than HTC products.
Is the HTC TOUCH PRO the same phone as the HTC Dream?
Unfortunately, the Sprint $40 international data plan doesn’t do you any good with the Touch Diamond. This phone is NOT listed as an international roaming phone with Sprint.
I just got off the line with Sprint Customer Service.
Repeat: The HTC Touch Diamond is NOT international roaming capable with Sprint. At all. Not even Canada and Mexico.
I got my Touch Diamond in the mail yesterday. The internet function worked for a minute, stopped working, worked again and now has not worked for the better part of two days. This thing is basically a paperweight for me. Tech support has been no help, got me a ticket and said the estimated time for a fix is 36 hours, but they don’t even have one of these phones in their location, so their help is not great. This phone stinks so far.
A lot of people have been dying to get their hands on the HTC Diamond for a while now; we are very excited to carry this phone. In your article you mention the requirement of the data plan; this is simply so users have full access to all the phone’s features, including Live TV. We carry an unlimited data plan called the Simply Everything Plan, which allows our users unlimited access to everything from texting to push to talk to surfing the internet for the price of $99 a month.
The Everything plans are not the only option, they have fam plans w/data or the non data fam plan w/o data and a data premier pack
how did you get the phone for such a great deal? how do you like it? is it better than the instinct, i am torn on which phone to get…
