BGR Mobile returns!

Your eyes aren’t deceiving you, friends. BGR Mobile has indeed returned. We can’t tell you the amount of emails we’ve been getting about bringing BGR Mobile back to handsets across the globe. It took some deep coding due to our highly customized web site, but the original WordPress ninja Alex King came to our rescue once again. Well, it’s back, and productivity in your work environment should effectively go out the window… now.

Hey BG, I’m so glad you got the mobile site back up! I have been waiting for it for some time now. Great to have it again! It looks great!

One suggestion, and I’m not family with coding for mobile sites so forgive me… But would it be possible to add buttons at the bottom of the page for previous and next entries, like they are in the standard page. Another nice addition would be the search bar, but that might be to much.

Just my input, and if it isn’t possible or you don’t think its best, let us know. I love to come to this site and read about what’s going on. Keep up the good work!

an iPhone app with push updates would be cool. Actually, I’ll even offer my services to help, for free as long as the iPhone app is free.

Is it possible to show the desktop version in opera mini? It is very good in displaying “normal” websites on my nokia e61…

You wanks. It isn’t SUPPOSED to look any different on iPhone, iPhone is supposed to be all perfect with regular web sites right? So you punks get to wait for the full site to load and the rest of us get the “light and fast” mobile site. Waaa.

Ads in the RSS feed I see now too.

DavidB: Actually with the 3G latency both sites would load in the same amount of time on the iPhone, there is just that initial “pause” that is annoying.

How can I see the mobile version on my iPhone3G? BGR is so much easier to read on my WinMo (TILT) but my iPhone loads the normal page.

Glad it is back. Makes viewing on my bb curve so much nicer. A bgr blackberry icon for the home screen would be cool too. However just having mobile site back is good enough for me :)

    Thanks BGR.

It’s working great on the N95 again. The HTML site also worked well but the wap version is just so much more efficient. Thanks for the fix! Now all those AT&T employees can browse the forums again lol
