Say Hello to the HTC Touch HD
After yesterday’s somewhat disappointing HTC Opal news it looks like HTC fans can do a complete 180 and get pumped. This thing might look like a BlackBerry Thunder but thanks to TouchFLO 3D we can be pretty sure the Touch HD will offer a much better touch interface. Very little is known about this sexy little devil at this point but here’s what we can tell you:
- 480 x 800 pixel WVGA touchscreen display (!)
- Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional
- TouchFLO 3D UI band-aid
- 3G (you better hit that tri-band radio, HTC!)
- Qualcomm 7201A processor @ 528MHz
- 512MB ROM / 256MB RAM (+32MB on processor)
All that plus a heaping dose of badass has us pretty excited. In fact, we’ve almost completely forgotten about the Opal. Our hope is that someone at HTC wised up, canned the Opal and this is what they coughed up instead.

Who makes this? Stupid people never wonder where technology comes from (It’s just magic.) nor where or what it my indicate (Intellectual property ripoffs, espionage, WWIII). WAKEUP!!

you’re right the Iphone is better, it comes with fine stock features such as a 5mega pix camera and front facing camera for video conf. and build in video recod., it also has FM radio, SD memory card slot, High res screen, copy & paste, unlocked SIM card, removable battery not to mention that its both Java and Flash ready out of the box……oh wait the Iphone has none of those things, my bad
and if anyone says SDK, or App store or “But if you hack it” I slap the Steve Jobs out of you fanboi
Both windows and Symbian have been doing it longer without making it sound like it was something special
