BlackBerry Storm appears on video, sucks*

*According to the “ninja” who “reviewed” it. Like we reported, the whole screen is a button, and the method of navigating the phone involves using the physical buttons, and then touching and clicking the screen to select something. Basically a hot mess. Man, that on-screen keyboard looks like death ran over twice. Skip to around 2:55 for the BlackBerry Thunder / Storm action. Comments please…. ?

Thanks, R.!

… or you could go read a “real” review, ala Engadget or Giz.

I think it looks cool but I would hate if it kept leaving my finger prints on the screen making it hard to see. So thats why I am getting the Blackberry Bold!

Okay. I didnt get to see this video, but I just want to say this: People here are retards if they are seriously going to judge whether or not a phone is good by a short “review” (from what people are saying) by someone that wears something over his mouth.

Honestly. Go out and actually try out the phone for yourself. Go into a Verizon store and play around with it since they have the phones out on display for test use.

I hate the Apple fanboys and Verizon fanboys and T Mobile fanboys. They all think THEIR phone is the best and any other is shit. Grow up. Sure, the iPhone looks good, but I never used one. From what I remember, the only things that would make me buy the phone would be pinching fingers to enlarge pics, itunes, and customizable home screen. There may be more that I just cant remember at this time, but neither of those three things are deal breakers for me. If I want music on my phone, Ill use an SD card. Enlarging photos can occur on my current phone that I’ve had for 4-5 years (it’s pretty much the pre- EnV phone; same design, but came out before the EnV) by simply right buttoning and clicking an option to zoom in/out. Customizable home screen isn’t something that I worry about either.

So yes. The iPhone is good, but considering that the people WITH an iPhone or a Verizon phone or something are already on a network, chances are no matter what the other networks come out with, they won’t switch unless it is for a better service or something. I personally am happy with Verizon. I have had ZERO problems with them in the 5+ years I’ve been with them, so have no need to switch networks. The iPhone is nice, but I dont feel like switching networks just to get it when Verizon offers phones that look just as good for my own tastes. Sure, Verizon phones may lack in an area where iPhone surpasses, but the iPhone also lacks in areas as well.

So stop shitting on a phone based on a supposedly horrid review. I dont give a shit if you have an iPhone and think any other phone is shit, because it just shows how much of a moronic fanboy you are. You’re the type of people that are too stubborn to look at a phone on your own (i.e., not watching some bashing review someone decided to do for shits and giggles) and go, “Hmm. That’s actually a nice feature. If I were on that netword I’d probably buy it, but Im happy with my current network so there’s really no need to change. Does look like a nice phone, though, and I think it’ll be a good phone for people who want something like an iPhone without actually having to change services.”

Seriously. It’s THAT easy. Grow up, stop being stubborn, and give praise where it is deserved. Read RECENT reviews of the phone, go check it out at a store so you can play around with it. Don’t judge a phone by a review that was done with a supposedly early build (I say this since people are damning the phone back in Sept. on here, yet current reviews really don’t show much wrong with the phone) and by someone that doesn’t know the facts (if he really DID say the camera was only 2 megapixels when it is a whopping 3.2 in reality). Plus, for some reason, I just cant take a review seriously when the person doing the review calls himself ‘Ninja’ and wears something to cover his mouth. No need for gimmicks on reviews. Nobody with a bright mind cares about you pretending to be a ninja. Just give us a review, maybe an unbiased one if you’re capable of it.

Even if you compare the iPhone to any other touch screen, the outcome doesn’t matter. It’s all personal opinion. This is why I don’t let movie critics decide for me whether a movie is good or not. Every single movie critic may say Movie A is the worst ever, but I will still see it and be entertained. STOP LETTING REVIEWS DECIDE STUFF FOR YOU. LET YOURSELF MAKE UP YOUR OWN MIND. Honest to God if he exists. Some people are so stupid when they fall in line with guys like the Ninja.
