Colorware does BlackBerry Bold, ours is on the way
Without Colorware we’d be drowning in a sea of boring and dull run-of-the-mill devices. Yeah, we said it! Always one to let you express your inner creativity, Colorware has finally added the BlackBerry Bold to its arsenal of devices, computers, and gadgets. Never one to pass on the opportunity, we’ve got on Bold on the way and we’ll be sure to give you a first look at it when we get it. The only problem? Well, the BlackBerry Bold as you all know isn’t quite available in the USA yet, so the only ones that are using Bolds in the country (for the most part) are people that have unlocked Rogers units. While that’s fine, Colorware currently doesn’t ship to Canada. That leaves you legit Canadians in the dust for now. But look on the bright side, you have Rogers as a best friend. Just don’t let us catch you with our patented BGR color combo, ok?

Why does the Bold looks so cheap…. Maybe its just me, but that looks rather bleh… White, Blue, Red, Black, and Green… It looks like a colorware gremlin puked all over that thing. Boo to the glossy finish….

Looks nice but I have my own color combination. I can’t wait until I get my at&t branded Bold. I am going to probably end up shipping it to Colorware the same week I get it.
to be honest I think the bold is soo great looking I wouldnt wanna customize it, plus its gonna be in a case. I wouldnt mind maybe branding a logo on it.
I think I might send in just the back plate to have it C’Wared. I hate the cheap leathery feel of the Bold. Maybe I’ll just wait till someone release’s a smooth back plate available from a third party source.

Don’t use google much do ya? OEM “Plain” backplates have been available for months now!
Anyways, personally I don’t think i’d colorware my bold (PS: BG, when is it srriving again lol?) anyways, it looks fine as is…makybe i’d add more red to it, but thats a BIG maybe.

it’s amazing how some people can’t wait for some new way to flush money down the hole. 200 bucks to get a piece of plastic coloured so you look slightly different than the rest of the consumerists. how about taking that money and buying a couple of books to read to find what’s going on in the world or maybe god forbid stepping out of your square bubble.

The Bold in my opinion seems hard to customize just because the front plate doesn’t change much the keys are black and the entire upper screen is wide and black as well.
If you browse their website and try customizing the Curve it almost doesn’t matter what color scheme you use it all blends together quite nicely.
Maybe now that the Bold is just around the corner it might be a good idea for some Curve owners to add some additional life to their device by getting a different housing scheme.. I don’t think I’d give up my Sprint color scheme.. unless maybe it was all black..

It would definitely look a lot more finished if the keys could be colored, and not just that silly bottom piece on the front.

I don’t like how the front of the phone stays black.
