New Verizon rebate sheet reveals new Motorola, Samsung, LG handsets
Thanks to the diligent work of one of our ninjas, we’ve come into contact with a new Verizon rebate sheet. While it does reveal a couple of goodies, the sad truth is that there’s not a whole lot of substance on here. No mention of the Blackberry Storm Thunder Storm, HTC Touch Diamond/Pro, or anything else to get us too excited. What you should be able to find in the next month, however, are the following new phones available from your friendly neighborhood Verizon dealer:
- Motorola Krave ZN4 in lovely Titanium
- Samsung Sway, a.k.a the Samsung SCH-u650. A 2 megapixel Bluetooth-equipped slider
- Samsung Knack
- LG VX8360, a middle-of-the-road flip phone
- LG VX5500, another low-end Bluetooth-equipped handset
Excited? Yeah, we didn’t think so. While rebate sheets are never the end-all, be-all of handset release info, we’re not exactly feeling a lot of inspiration from big V’s upcoming release plans. Then again, there might be more surprises in store come September. Hit the jump for the rest of the rebate sheet!

I don’t think vzw is going to have the Diamond or Pro til next year, the Storm will probably be seen before any of the HTC’s

Dose this mean there is an additional $50 rebate coming for the LG Dare?
Not good because what has been REMOVED is almost as interesting as what has been added.

They DID post MOTOROLA. It is the first one you are able to see.

And I def have to agree with BG on this one. When we received our rebate sheets a couple weeks ago I was very disappointed. I expected more out of the next couple months.
The only phones I see missing are the Samsung i760 and Motorola v9m. v9m has been on closeout for weeks and most stores don’t have it. i760 is odd though.

Actually no, there is lot missing, all Pda’s are missing even if they are not new verizon still puts the phone on the sheet because you can still get a rebate for an old phone, whenever you contract is up. So all the Blackberries are missing also the HTC phone….also the verizon Blitz just came out and its not on that list….so i think we can still be excited for new phones coming out……or get the whole list and then we can tallk.
I saw the samsung u650 the other, its a really nice slider phone. Almost like the sprint m520 but more square and with a brushed aluminum look
