Hmmm, I always thought he was a Lich.
His natural source of nourishment must be running low (New employees? New fans?).

I had a professor back in college that used a cane to walk, except after giving out tests. After each test he usually came out of the room smiling and walking straight. We used to joke that he was sucking the energy out of us, or feeding of our hopelessness.

We ended up nicknaming him Mumm-Ra…
