Even though Att has the tilt I think the touch pro will replace it, that would be very good… I do think it’s comping to Sprint Verizon At&t T-Mobile

Take a Touch Pro and instead of making it better by making the screen bigger you add redundant buttons on the front.

But I have the 4.5 OS on my Curve and have HTML Email capabilities and with the Bold going 4.6 OS, it should translate over as well. I can be totally wrong though.

I don’t know if the screen size of the Bold is a shortcoming honestly. It’s a tad bigger than the Curve which is a good size in itself, but it has the same resolution of the Iphone, so it’ll be sharper on the smaller screen. I see that as a plus.

I am eager to see this phone in action though

This would be a great replacement for my BlackJack II and Moto Q 9h. I hate styluses. For me, it’s either a fully finger-friendly UI or no touchscreen at all. I hate having to use both hands for anything when it comes to my phone.

not exactly an original design. i have the samsung sch i760, and this appears to be the same exact concept. the specs on this kill my phone, but i definitely think the i760 has a much more efficient design, mainly the soft keys and the circular nav thingy need to be next to the key pad to open up a ton of potential screen space. how can they have such a large phone with a tiny 2.4 inch screen?

Check out the S730… even PDADB.NET had a listing for a USA version of that phone, and I have not been able to find it for sale anywhere(yet…haven’t checked in a month or so).

I like the specs, and I believe that Windows Mobile fills a lot of the holes left by both iPhone and BB Bold. In fact, I see the following as the shortcomings of each:

iPhone:
- QWERTY keyboard
- No replaceable battery
- No multi-tasking
- No cut & paste (this is just silly)
- No video (while a 2MP camera, it takes some of the best pictures I’ve seen)
- No email server searches

Bold:
- UI
- HTML email
- Good web browser
- Screen size

I think the HTC Touch Pro (and now the S740) fills all of these, but, for the life of me, I don’t understand why they don’t put a 3.5mm jack for music. Particularly, when they put an FM tuner in it.

Always was a fan of the T9 keypad on the front and the sliding Full QWERTY…

Just wish they had the 3G work for the US and I would forgive them for putting WIN 6.1 Standard
