I've been using that plan for over a year and half mostly in Canada and on occasion in Europe and have never had any extra data charges. While traveling in Europe I used TeleNav exclusively to navigate where I was going ( about 4 weeks in total time) and it cost me nothing extra. I've talked to 2 reps at AT&T who have said I could just use that same plan for the iPhone so I'm going to test that starting next month and I'll see what happens... Just to clarify – The International BB plan DOES include web browsing and not just email. Given foreign carriers charge per byte, if you use the 200 mb you are probably saving yourself 400-500 dollars at least. But then again the best thing to do for the time being is to unlock the phone and pay 3-4 dollars a day for prepaid data access if available.
