@Hi @Jimmy: European systems use 1900 for upload and 2100 for download. The TM506 uses 1700 for upload and 2100 for download. Now, it is common to refer to the European system simply as 2100, and for differentiation T-Mo’s AWS system is sometimes called 1700. So whether or not it will be Europe-compatible will depend on how SE is using the term “dual-band”.

Would be nice to see the GSM/900 band since its still being used overseas but this is still great start for tmobile. Tmobile going 3G isnt going to happen overnight but once it’s here it will be much faster then what ATT has to offer.

A friend of mine was beta testing this phone. It’s a cool flip phone but the internet is TERRIBLE. This thing better not cost more than $100 because it sure as heck didn’t feel pricey.

So sense it has the 2100 band, does that mean that you can use it on Europe’s 3G network also? or is it different?
