BlackBerry Bold giveaway! Get one for your hood!
Since RIM completely screwed the pooch on this one (you know, like, delays for seven years?), we’re going to try and make it up to you! We’re giving away 5 BlackBerry Bolds for your local service provider. The 5 we are giving away are: AT&T, T-Mobile Germany, Rogers, Orange UK, and PCCW HK. The winner of the AT&T Bold won’t get their unit until launch since all devices we’re giving away are purchased from the respective carriers. You’ve got to play to win they say. Not so much when you’re dealing with a BGR giveaway, though. To enter, just email us a photo of your current BlackBerry. The more damaged the BlackBerry is, the higher chance you have of winning. Get it? Also drop in a comment from the same email with what carrier you’d like. RIM made you mad by making you wait, they might have even had you think impure thoughts. Yo got me a at&t 8300 in need of some serious replacement. i dont even have a plastic screen anymore. I had to break it off when i cracked it one night. I even have to carry my trackball inside my other pocket and put it in when i want to use the damn thing. this all happened in the first three months. Damned 2 year contracts DAMNED 2 Year contracts!

Come on, mine is missing the H key. If my LCD wasn’t completely busted up my H’s would look like /-/. Still makes and receives calls on a daily basis though. I need the new Bold for AT&T.

One of my blackberry is stolen. That is worse than being damaged.
Worst of all, I am borrwing a phone from my friend because he just got his new window mobile phone. I am using blackjack. My life sucks now.

My Crackberry *might* make it into some Rim marketing – I slipped last winter on my front walkway and my 8830 sailed into a 7 foot snowbank. Immediately phoned *611 to have it disconnected and *gasp* re-enable my 7250. This was December. I found it on March 26, 4 months after it was lost in the snow.
Plugged it in. The red (now a little faded lol) light actually came on. A few hours later, the hourglass actually spun up.
Long story short, I have a berry that survived 4 months at -20C in the snow. I think that qualifies very highly in the WTF category! Ok, so the screen colours aren’t as bright, a few of the keys might stick every now and then… I sure could use a 9xxx series BGR!
I sent a letter to RIM and they replied with ‘wow, can we contact you later’.
