BlackBerry Bold giveaway! Get one for your hood!
Since RIM completely screwed the pooch on this one (you know, like, delays for seven years?), we’re going to try and make it up to you! We’re giving away 5 BlackBerry Bolds for your local service provider. The 5 we are giving away are: AT&T, T-Mobile Germany, Rogers, Orange UK, and PCCW HK. The winner of the AT&T Bold won’t get their unit until launch since all devices we’re giving away are purchased from the respective carriers. You’ve got to play to win they say. Not so much when you’re dealing with a BGR giveaway, though. To enter, just email us a photo of your current BlackBerry. The more damaged the BlackBerry is, the higher chance you have of winning. Get it? Also drop in a comment from the same email with what carrier you’d like. RIM made you mad by making you wait, they might have even had you think impure thoughts. Now you can lay back and relax, ’cause your good friend Boy Geezie and the rest of the folks at BGR are going to hook you up!

I’d love to get a new BB. The bold looks like a slick device. My 8700 is pretty f’ed up.

I had the chance to grab Bold in my hands at the Rogers Tennis Cup.
Nice finish, beautifull OS! Pretty cool phone overall, even tough it’s a bit on the chubby size!

Dude, my Blackberry is seriously jacked up. I need a new one. I’ve dropped it in water and ran over it with my car (accidentally) in recent weeks. Everybody at work makes fun of me. Help me save face by giving me a new Blackberry.

I have gone through many blackberrys starting with the 8700g. I currently Use a 8300 but have gone through 8700g,8800, 8100 and actually went online this morning, ordered a blackberry bold and was unable to have delivered to US. I then called family in Canada and told them I will have it delivered there. The Rogers site went down and was unable to order online. Called and was told I would need to order in store or online to get without contract. I then was finally able to place online order and did so. Received a java error and submitted again. The order had “already been placed” I contacted Rogers to verify and was given a run around just to be informed the order was not placed.So now I awill again attempt to purchase the phone online
I have a 8700 with a cracked screen and side from falling off bumper of my car. Another 8700 with little damage. A 8100 with no trackball(used to replaced 8300 ball) and the back is taped to stay attached. The 8800 works fine but had to buy battery charger to swap batteries as the charging/sync port has broken off inside. The 8300 works fine currently after stealing the trackball from 8100. As you can see I am an avid BB Addict and am on a huge hunt for the Bold.

Hi Guys, thanks for running this contest. I just sent you pictures of my busted 8800! The USB connection on it is broken, so every night, I pull the battery and stick it in my 8700 to charge overnight. Expensive charging station, huh
?
