BlackBerry Bold giveaway! Get one for your hood!
Since RIM completely screwed the pooch on this one (you know, like, delays for seven years?), we’re going to try and make it up to you! We’re giving away 5 BlackBerry Bolds for your local service provider. The 5 we are giving away are: AT&T, T-Mobile Germany, Rogers, Orange UK, and PCCW HK. The winner of the AT&T Bold won’t get their unit until launch since all devices we’re giving away are purchased from the respective carriers. You’ve got to play to win they say. Not so much when you’re dealing with a BGR giveaway, though. To enter, just email us a photo of your current BlackBerry. The more damaged the BlackBerry is, the higher chance you have of winning. Get it? Also drop in a comment from the same email with what carrier you’d like. RIM made you mad by making you wait, they might have even had you think impure thoughts. Further info… called their flagship store 333 Bloor St. East (part of the Rogers headquarters campus – the old Confederation Life Building) they have a recording that says they haven’t received their shipment of the Blackberry Bold. They cannot give a date. Maybe by the end of day. They will update recording if anything changes.
Why would Rogers hold a press conference this morning announcing availability (as they did according to the Globe and Mail) if the product is not available. John Boynton, senior vice president of Rogers Wireless, must have known there was no product available when he spoke. So, Rogers, what’s the deal?
Blackberry Bold, I need you. My job is refusing to buy me a new one until 04/09. And my current one is beat to hell. But hey, did AT&T even confirm they will be caring the device…things that make you go hmmmm

Slow, expensive, but really addicting. RIM took too long to bring the Bold out, and it’s not even an iPhone Killer..

I destroyed my 8700c the other day. Been drooling about that Bold ever since.
My current blackberry is all busted up…but I gotta give it props for still working. 3 years and going strong! Well maybe not strong…but its going.
BGR always comes through in the clutch! My Pearl has been dropped more times than I can count, but it keeps on ticking! Merely a flesh wound!
