What a cranky and out of touch group in this thread.

As someone noted, circuit city’s stock is at an all time low and is desparate for a corp merger lest they go bankrupt.

Why? According to an article in the Wall Street Journal ON exactly these two companies, people overwhelmingly prefer Best Buy, and they noted how full of Customer’s most BB stores are and how empty CC is. The WSJ concluded the outlook is bleak for CC B/C CUSTOMERS PREFER IT BY A WIDE MARGIN. (Where the hell do you all live??). Unless acquired by another retailer, expect bankruptcy–so hurry to enjoy that service and value you so prefer. This iPhone deal will likely put the final nail in the coffin, now or at least by end of the xmas season.

How depressingly negative all the moronic sniping and bitching is here, especially given how uninformed and dead wrong many of the name-callers are.

This web 2.0 stuff is really working out. I have found out not to waste any more time reading cowards call each other “anus” and dirty words (”Mommie, I can talk naughty!”).
Unfortunately, the handful of people trying to be helpful have to skip through your potty-talk postings.

But hey, on the bright side, it keeps the ignorant, would-be bullies and other low-functioning people busy until the time comes to fill one of the ever growing unskilled jobs in retail and food service (after all, the prisons are overly full).

So go ahead and spend as much time as you can writing the same PAINFUL insults to/about me, really show people how little valued you are by the hours spent “throwing your weight around” insulting unknown people all over the web, I imagine!

If you keep it up, maybe some day you can be a low-paid circuit city sales person, and call people “anus” in person.

Naw, CC won’t be around by then and the cowards who get off on instant schoolyard flaming on these boards would never have the balls to do that in person. So maybe not–but do stay in your bedroom responding thoroughly to this b/c the adults here are REALLY impressed. Or at least glad that failed bullies, the uninformed, the flatulent, as well as socially awkward kids and low functioning adults aren’t crowding iPhones at nearby Best Buy or Apple stores. Better yet, they have an outlet to feel good about themselves–right in the home! And we don’t even have to see them!

So go for it, REALLY put me in my place! (I won’t be back to read any further but I care! Believe in yourself and you can win this pissing contest) But take your time — Be specific and really try to show how witty and commanding you can be. And keep at it–you’ll want to practice a lot, I hope.

I completely agree, but I’m in Manhattan. For all those places where there isn’t an Apple store, people will hit BestBuy.

BB just needs to be sure they put one of their better people on the task of activation, or this could get sloppy.

There probably wouldn’t be a problem exchanging for a new iPhone. Best Buy has some of the best warranties around, for an additional fee of course, lol. But with a Best Buy warranty, you bring it in and walk out with another item the same day, no questions asked. I wish I bought my Xbox 360 from Best Buy then I wouldn’t even have to worry about mailing it back to Microsoft for the red rings of death TWICE already this summer.

Let me… because getting the hottest product on the market in your store means people buy their TVs and other stuff too.

Investors know the iPhone will be low margin business, but it’s a friggin magnet for other business.

So crow all you want about your love for CircuitCity, but BestBuy’s stock is $46, and CC’s a buck away from soaping up the windows.

BTW you can get the peek squads MRI disk on pirate bay and the lates version is cracked so it never expires an best of all you don’t have to pay em $80 and put up with the poor customer service and BS to have you windows box?lap work better with a tweaked registry.

So, if I was not in the market to purchase an iphone, how does its availabilty at worstbuy sway me to go into their store? I would rather go into the Circuit City accross the street for better customer service.
