Sprint loses another 901,000 subscribers

Ok guys… we respect your determination, your dedication, and your staunch resolution to soldier on in the face of adversity. Seriously, we do. That said, it’s time for you to quit, Sprint. There’s simply no other way to put it. The most infamous losing carrier has released it’s quarterly earnings report, and things are not looking much better than they were last time around. Sprint lost 901,000 subscribers last quarter, amounting to a financial loss of $344 million or 12 cents a share. Sure, it’s a marginal improvement over the previous quarter’s results, but when you’re scraping the bottom of the barrel like this there’s really not much to rejoice about. There’s no telling how long the company can hold on, but considering a fire sale might be a necessary step before bankruptcy comes a’knocking. And you want might to save whatever image you have left by not having your CEO practically beg for your business in advertisements. Just a thought.

The C.S. issues are correcting themselves, on the phone at least, in store is a different story. My recent in store experiences have left some really soup taste but not enough to make me want to pay more money, not with the price of gas and groceries

people if i may have a minute of your time and ask this question. what makes any of these cell phone carriers any better than each one. verizon was not always verizon it was another company that changed their name. remember cingular was pac bell. sprint was the only cell phone carrier that was independent since the earlier to mid nineties. no matter what cellphone carrier you go to you are alwasy gonna have problems. think att has been saying they have the best service but everyone who has their service has alot of gripes and complaints. verizon service s not all that. i had the service and i experienced dropped calls. ask yourself this, do you think that cellular service will work everywhere, and also there are millions upon millions of people who have cellphones, real busy network. i saw ah=nd heard that tmobile had the best service of all by jd power and associates, for what? found out it’s because of their 24hr service center. if that is what you call a big deal then huh. all cellphone companies will have problems, but don’t hold it against them. the iphone is great but why make something that doesn’t work. found out the real skinny that connected apple with verizon from some employee friends. when you wanna talk about a phone or place, please make sure you have all of the correct info about the company and its product.

I have always been happy with sprint until know. getting my monthly bill wrong, over charging me double every month and etc. then I switched to verizon. to find out that they charged me for breaking the contract. which after calling me them they discovered that I haven’t been under a contract since last janurary. then they tell me it will be between five to six months until there able to refund me a check. So I ended up calling them every day for the past week every hour on the hour until some one listened and work with me. I got that down to hope fully a month. which is still unacceptable. I have seeked legal council and will pursue this until my last breathe or heart beat. there crooks and thieves. DO NOT sign a contract or stick with them. they will steal your money.

As someone who worked for sprint, I can tell you the problems. #1 – Way too many transfers and queue’s. Everyone they hire should be trained to do everything sprint is supposed to be able to do. Also, we had to transfer to nextel a lot. This is a problem because it can take any rep 10-30 minutes before they recognize they need to transfer. Hell they train you for a month, but the training sucks. It’s like kindergarten.
