iPod Touch on sale for $199 8GB, $299 16GB

Sure, you’ll get one free if you by a new Mac this summer, but if you’re not in the market for a new computer this might be the deal you’ve been waiting for. Apple has knocked $50 of their regular pricing for refurbished iPod Touch models. The special pricing applies to both the 8GB and 16GB versions, bringing the price down to $199 for the base model and $299 for the 16 GB. Not a bad deal at all. There have been rumors floating around of an updated/cheaper iPod Touch on the horizon, so we wouldn’t be surprised if Apple is trying to clear out stock before introducing a new model. No telling how long this will last, so hit the link now if you’re interested!

when can a brotha get a 64GB iPod Touch with Bluetooth, GPS, and some 2.1 firmware love? I’ll pay my $499, I don’t mind … especially if I can get a Verizon wireless data plan and USB or Bluetooth keyboard ..

(I know, I’m asking too much)

Notice how only the 8 and 16 gig refurb have the red “special pricing”. The 32 gig was already discounted to the 429 before this. Apple is tricky by the original price they state is for a new one. The 32 gig always had the 70 discount for the refurb while the 8 and 16 only had 50 dollar discounts, they now have 100 instead.

Pretty sweet deal. I have Sprint so this is a cheap way to get an iphone without the phone. Don’t need the media capabilities. Just want the wifi and safari browser.
