Does anyone know the answer to this question; If I have a 1.1.3 phone and upgrade to 1.1.4 can I use this tool to upgrade to 2.0 and still have my iphone 1.0 unlocked ?

Galvatron: Distributing apps only via the App Store has nothing to do with patents. To install an app some other way has more to do with breaking use agreements.

JDC: MaxT32 wasn’t asking which apps aren’t available on the App Store. He was asking which apps Apple has rejected from appearing on the App Store. Out of the ones you’ve mentioned, which developers have ported their software to the supported API, tried to place them on the App Store, but failed?

Of the ones you mentioned, only Fring may run into problems if it does VOIP over 3G. However, iCall will be coming to the App Store.

Lol its not stealing, its ppl making free apps and apple allows you to submit free ones, they prob dont want the public to get the stuff for free because things like summerboard show a lot of potential for protfit. Imagine if they charged a 99 cents for a theme, ppl would eat it up. kudos to the dev team once again, and for making it on the mac first haha. Also when your a teen in college who can barely afford rent 5-10 bucks is a lot

I want a camera App that has timed shutter: CameraPro. Not on AppStore.
I want a secure box for account and passwords: Lockbox. Not on AppStore.
I want to take videos: VideoRecorder. Not on AppStore.
I want to change the icons on my phone: Summerboard. Not on AppStore.
I want to VOIP: Fring. Not on Appstore.
There is so much not on AppStore, but free, no stealing required, for jailbroken phones.

Sheep sure why not. But jail breaking your iPhone just so you can use free unauthorized apps when Apples apps are what $5 –$10 dollars each is ridiculous. Hey if you like stealing little apps, I know a bubble gum machine you can steal to.
