BlackBerry Thunder live shots
Dying to get a sneak peek at the BlackBerry Thunder’s on-screen keyboard? Had enough with the iPhone madness? Check out these shots that surfaced yesterday evening. While we can’t tell how well the unit works from the pictures, you can certainly get a feel for how it’s going to look. We’ve heard that there are newer OS versions floating around, so let’s just hope RIM plans to skin those keyboards faster than an Alabamian on a puma — they’re hideous.

BIS was updated a few weeks ago to allow HTML e-mails on BB with OS 4.5+
OS 4.5 is out in Beta for CDMA and it has HMTL support. I am using it now on my Verizon 8830. I can’t send HTML e-mails but that is a security thing with RIM. I can view them just fine.
I for one look forward to this new BB. I could have gotten an iPhone but decided not to when I heard BB was coming out with this device.

iPhone 3G didn’t fix enough of the iPhone 1st gen flaws so i am passing on it.
Still waiting on Samsung Omnia, Nokia Tube, Garmin NuviPhone and BB Thunder… Hopefully someone will get it right

there is a few skins I have seen on the device
and this is a test mule I would guess with no branding. the OS is still solid, and I do love how after his “the bold breaker, the javelin jouster” crap that BGR stated….he got flat out beat down with this breaking news.
and after posting that the OS was unstable, and not even working we see a keyboard now….it made me laugh.
I know the OS is working, I had it in my hands just a few days ago…and I love reading some cocky blogger thinking he knows something form an “insider” who more than likely is just somebody’s secretary haha
Any word of the screen size? It looks to be between 3.2 and 3.5 inches.

just because the keyboard looks ok to you that doesnt mean the entire OS is ok. and you’ve played with this? unless you got proof of that your just spitting whatever pops into your head
I have a 8800, but I need 4-5 mpx camera and it would be good to have a larger screen. Blackberry are the leader, so bring it on!
