iPhone 3G unboxing video: Special Delivery!
We put together a short video unboxing of the new iPhone 3G for you, and while it’s pretty short, nothing says “iPhone” better than one of our videos. That made absolutely no sense. Seriously though, you should get a kick out of the video if nothing else. And we do show a nice comparison to the first generation iPhone as well. One comment? The black iPhone isn’t terrible when it comes to fingerprints. Yes, it will pick up ‘prints and smudges way more than the aluminum-backed iPhone, but you shouldn’t head to sissy-la-la land and pickup a white one just because you think it’s going to get some fingerprints on it, ok? It’s not that bad. Really.

Since when did white become a sissy color BG? I am in line right now at my local AT&T store and I’m definitely picking up a White iPhone 3G. It has nothing to do with finger prints or anything like that. I just like the white one better and plus it comes in a white box… LOL. Btw, I think you should do a post of everyone who is waiting on line to get the iPhone 3G. We can take pics of ourselves, and you can post them to your site good ole’ calouge style.

DYING TO KNOW QUESTION # 1:
Number one thing I’m wonder is how loud is the speaker? The actual speaker itself in terms of ringtones, playing music, speakerphone quality. I believe that was a big concern for most with the previous iPhone. Such a media driven device that sounded like a muffled rat smothered with a pillow. I wonder did apple simply make more vents for sound to escape or actually genuinely improve the speakers? One thing I loved about my blackberry and nokia phones is that they were insanely loud and I would easily use them for my daily alarm etc.

Ah, so the haters are out, still. As I type from my BlackBerry Curve. But I’m getting my iPhone tomorrow, hopefully around lunch. Can’t stand in line, don’t think I need to.
But back to john j. The “j” obviously stands for jenius. He who said the iPhone is a toy, then realized he forgot something so important so he quickly double posts to get this gem in: “get a life.” Ooh. Good one. You really got us.
The iPhone is a toy? Thank god john j wrote hat little nugget. I had no idea! Thanks to that scintillating observation I’ll pass on grass and *not* get an iPhone… The iPhone is hardly a toy unless all cell phones are toys to some degree. I’m not going to explain why.
And “get a life”? So original. These life-less people sound pretty fucking happy; is that ok with you?. *I’m* happy. I can’t wait to try the damn thing. And believe me, I’ve got a life. I wish I had less of a life.

I don’t mind the debate; in fact I love it. iPhone vs BlackBerry, apple vs pc. Etc. *Love* that shit, love it. But I’m so past the knee-jerk insults. So easy to be a tough guy hiding anonymously behind your computer or qwerty keypad. If you had to face the people you so blithly insult, you wouldn’t.

Everyone wants a video. To bad your super cool Iphone doesn’t have video capabilities. Plus your super cool $70 a month phone with no texting plan included can’t even send and recieve MMS. Why you sheep can’t wait to get this phone is beyond me.
After the phone is unbricked, can you put any at&t sim card in and have it work or is it locked to one sim?
