Are you serious? Part 2
Honestly, haven’t we had enough already? Giz, you don’t want it with the kid, I promise. I never said it was delayed, ever. I said it had major issues as any device four to five months out should! Never, ever, did I mention a delay of any sort. Instead, I actually repeated my previous scoop saying it’s on track for the same time frame we reported before. Please take a minute and re-read yesterday’s post again before complicating things and putting words in our mouths. You’re wrong. And you’re wrong about the name, too. Thunder is the codename. Bigger shot after the jump…

From the Gizmodo article, “In fact, our source claims that “It’s on track and it rocks.”
LMAO sounds like that “solid source” is a PR person feeding them quotes.

Its funny that they call you out like that, and then they use you as a source for practically every other post you have! Keep up the good inside info BGR! I like giz, but maybe they would do better to reduce their posts by 15%-20% and get the story right the first time. Them and Engadget use their “Update” to correct their posts more and more these days. And some of the updates pretty much say “disregard this post. its completely untrue”. ha!

BGR - you did report a Q3 (JUL/AUG/SEPT) launch recently and now are stating November. This does indicate a delay. What gives?

I guess Gizmodo were too busy getting boners over the 3G iPhone?
Fucking Apple iFanbois… They’re almost as bad as Engadget!

the thing I don’t understand is that BG keeps claiming that he said all along the phone wouldn’t be release until november but I can’t find that anywhere. All I have seen on this site was that you heard it was coming out in August. You posted the August date when you posted the pictures of the phone. So, I have no idea where November came from

Whoa whoa whoa BGR.
I sat back yesterday and laughed about the fights happening on every damn tech blog I read.
But today, it continues…..
Give it a rest. If you’re right, sit back and wait until the release of the device and then gloat!
This he said she said shit is old.

GO BG!
Hahaha this is fantastic. I can’t wait to see Gizmodo be wrong!
While they’re a good source for quick stuff, they often get certain technical aspects wrong… oh gadgetry, how we loath and love you.

BG - I hope you are right and I don’t want to call you out, but so far you have been flip-flopping on some of your info:
May - “all you “reporting” on it as the Storm are incorrect) will launch in Q3 of this year”
June - “the BlackBerry Storm, also known as the BlackBerry Thunder”
I understand that information changes during production and maybe thats the case here, there are quite a few sources out there and maybe yours is wrong this time around. I don’t see your November date anywhere as you have been commenting on recently.
Isn’t there any additional information you can share with us to show you are on track and not just calling out other sites because you have been right in the past?

What about BGR’s release date of June 26 for the Blackberry Boldless?

And are you guys for sure sure your source is right? Last thing you want is to be wrong.

Go get ‘em BG……I am almost close to closing out the Giz on my RSS reader because it’s just 100 posts a day of re-hashes…

Ady:
Congrats on being like the ten billionth post of “my friend works for so and so and has been testing”… blah blah. Post like yours are worthless and you can’t back up a F*ing thing you say.
So what? Typical Verizon. Testing technology that’s been out for over a year on every other carrier. You don’t have a thing on the “iPhone huggers” who’ve had VVM for over a year now. VZW devices suck. They are all crippled with crappy interfaces. Take your Network cause that’s ALL you got. Besides the highest bills in the industry.

Anyone remember when Horizon Wireless put up the “Thunder aka Storm” pics last month? Then claimed that they were told to take them down. Well under their “Thunder” listing they now say “This product will be in stock on Aug 11, 2008.”
Its prob nonsense, but I guess people usually believe what suits them best.
